Default When will we have Heal potions

Epic melee should be able to quaff heal pots whenever desired, casters and devines have mana pots that ultimatly keep them alive forever through reconstruct and heal. I know people say well theres sf pots but heal would only be 110 not 250 so its not that unbalanced.

its terrible that you have to do all those ugly necro quests to get not to mention they slow you -10 to all your stat to get sf pots. why are we being penalized, but spell user drinks mana pot nothing but goodness and even has items that give the efect charge.....then they make the i solod this and solod that page with x pots.. show the real melees some love and give us heal potions

heal pots idk for house j favor something..

I would not object to heal pots if they dropped in the same way as SP pots. Small chance from an end reward or chest. Now u may say we have unlimited sp etc etc. But those mana pots aren't free. If an HP restorative pot similar to heal were to be made, make it drop in the same way as SP pots, not from a vendor.

    Why not.

Maximum House J favor to get heal pots and make them little expensive. Like 1-5k plat each.

Average mana potion is 10k plat.
Noone is chugging them like there's no tomorrow.
Try to squeeze in some UMD into your build.
Sure, some more self healing would be cool, but no fail cheap heal pots would be a little OP IMO.

^ Absolutely agree with you. ^ I have to keep my cleric employed.

Silver flame favour grants access to

Silverflame Healing Potion - 400pp (recovers 250HP, 50% slow, -10 abilities and saving throws for 30 seconds as side effects)
Silverflame Lesser Healing Potion - 200pp (recovers 100HP, -10 abilities and saving throws for 30 seconds as side effects)

I just don't see how it could be justified to give more powerful pots to another houses favour, with easier quests.

Agree, just farm out the Silver Flame favor or get UMD.

I think at this point in the game the -10 ability score/save thing should be removed from the pots, heal pots are not as OP as they once were (just put an appropriate ML on them, 12 maybe).

Store sales and droping them in chests at a rate similar to Major Pots would be fine with me too.

That would make clerics and FvS much less useful classes if everyone was self healing. Then all of those Clerics and FvS might as well TR into a Wizard or Sorc.

Not really... FvS and Cleric are right up there with Wizards and Sorcs currently.

And healing role would still be required in raids... unfortunately.

time to discover that clerics and favored souls can do more than just heal

I run a cleric and a FvS, I know what they can do. But healing is the thing they do that other classes can't do better. If everyone was running around with pots that cast heal, clerics would just be gimpy casters or gimpy melees depending on what you build them for.

Really? Evoker FvS is arguably best class in game at the moment, and Cleric isn't really that far away...

I'd like to see heal pots, if they dropped at about the same rate as the major mnemonics and couldn't be bought at vendors. Having that quick emergency self-heal would be nice, and wouldn't break the game

I agree to this -- if they drop like mana pots
    It would def. be nice.

Absolute agreement, there is no reason whatsoever that Heal pots shouldn't be available with the same drop mechanic as Major Sp pots. So now that we're getting the much needed Metamagic fix, I predict these Heal pots will enter the loot tables sometime in late 2117.

with a sp pot, you can have more than 1 heal (not couting other posibilities).

    sp per pot 200-600

with 400 sp you can have about 8 heals. So if they drop like SP pots, i will make them have 8 charges.
