So if I may ask, what is the current High bid? I did come into some devil scales today and I may up my offer. Plat perhaps as well, but I'm not going to bid against a ghost.

It doesn't matter what you bid he'll always have a "higher offer" through a mysterious PM. I've checked his past bids they all go from a realistic offer to a mysteriously high offer from a PM then are closed. Only a few days later a "new" item is being sold. Originally Posted by toughguyjoe

I called out a particular individual that I know personally who bought a Vibrant purple stone from a newbie for 10K on the trade channel the other day and was immediately attacked by two others and told to mind my own business; which in hind sight I probably should have.

I'm curious as to why one would want all offers to be private. It seems to me that a public auction resulting in a bidding war would be better for the seller, not worse. Interesting...
