It's a known issue, submit a bug report.

Echoes of Power requires the Magical Training feat. The Magical training feat is granted to Clerics, Favored Souls, Wizards and Sorcerers at level 1.

And Bards get Magical Training at lvl 1 as well... Echo's of power is intended for all classes that are granted Magical training at lvl 1.

*Edit... Looked up Bard feats both Passive and Active... seems Bards get over looked for Magical training even tho they start off w/ mana at lvl 1.... hmm..interesting

Magical training is a bonus to SP at first level. Bards do not get this bonus.

It's similar to heroic durability but only currently given to clerics, fvs, sorcs, and wizzies.

Guess I should've went spellsinger for saving sp then lol. Oh well. I'm sticking with my virtuoso. Any tips on how to use fascinate ot enthrallment without being beaten upon for the 3-5 seconds of singing it? I'm thinking of learning invisbility and casting that before running in the middle.

Invisibility is a great idea for fascinating. Also try haste and displacement. Maybe jump.

    Sneaking works as well.

Note: bards can cast spells invis, and stay invis (kinda fun being "the invisible healer")

Some mobs have true seeing so better know which ones do have it

Not just bards. Does casting non-offensive spells break invisibility for anyone? I know it doesn't for my Cleric.

Invisibility or stealth are options; singing doesn't break either. Blur & Displacement are also your friends. If you're in a good group, you can have someone else draw aggro first while you follow behind, singing their praises (and mezzing mobs). But oftentimes I find the easiest thing to do is think of yourself as a musical grenade: pull the pin (hit Fascinate / Enthrall to start singing) and throw (run into mob), timing it so your song finishes when you're in the midst of enemies.
