Not much because the epic item is rather disappointing.

I used the cloak on my ranger in pre-epic days because of the perma Blur but when I found out what the epic version was, I just made a Smoke Screen GS cloak instead.

50-100k plat tops.

Very few superior lore items; I imagine that's what folks are looking at it for these days. The other bits are useful, but the superior lore is the big one now w/ savants.

I paid 4 FRDS for mine but I'm from Argo. Guess Ghallanda has way different prices.

Oh yes, I suppose air savants made it more desirable. Haven't thought of that, I've always seen it as a melee item.

I don't think I'd pay 4 FRDS for an extra +3% crit chance and +0.25 multiplier (compared to greater arcane lore). But others might.

4 reds is roughly the price for one of these.

Not necessarily that the effect is worth it but the rarity of desert raid scrolls leaves these really hard to find. As such the inflated price is around 4 reds.

Not for an air savant as there is no other place to get superior lightning lore. The effects you list elsewhere can be duplicated on other items.

Once again the item is niche which normally wouldn't mean a big price but for the savants and even some other lightning specced casters this item is unique and the scrolls are extremely rare.

I would easily give 4 frds for the scroll if it is for sale.

As has been said there are 2 reasons why this scroll is worth a lot:

1) It is a sands Raid item scroll with an extra low drop rate
2) It is the only item in the game with superior lightning lore

For the same 2 reasons the scroll of the Seal of the Earth is also worth as much.

Point taken. Oh well, I didn't do a very good job at assessing the price then, but the good news is that I happen to have one of these scrolls on Thelanis.

I use 5 piece abishai set on my air savant. Thus envenomed gives me 7 con, 5 resistance, green slot, additional 3 con, and +3 to conjuration DC. Not worth it to swap all that for just 3% higher crit chance imo.

That's hardly a valid comparison as maybe we should compare what the other casters would have with those slots used up for something else. Bracers slot?, clearly you can do better than +8 armor bonus and greater fire resistance. Gloves slot? +6 str is handy for carrying capacity but I can fit it in elsewhere.

Oh and I grabbed +3 conj dc from one item while you spent 5.

There is really no reason for air savants to run even 3 piece as they don't have level 25 max dmg spells in their main element. Only ice does currently and soon acid will. As such even the three piece is wasted gear on a savant.

If you wanna waste half your gear slots on +4 con and miss out on the best dmg increase item in the game for you other than eardweller by all means have at it.
