Schemes of the Enemy Elite - Brute force style! (Puzzles are for suckahs!)

Toughest of the 3 new quests we got today.

There 2 ways (or maybe 3 dunno what the diplo/bluff options do yet) to do this quest on elite..

The easy way (solve a puzzle)..
and the
Are you INSANE! brute force way - **** off the warforged or smack the security door and set off the alarm, then be prepared for an insane fight.

First time I tried it I tried brute force in a full group.. We got utterly slaughtered on every attempt and had to eventaully give up after severe death penalties.

2nd time I did the puzzle way.. Easy enough.

Around that time nick sent me a tell, and I wanted my revenge on that brute force optional.. So we went looking for a challenge and purposely ****ed off the warforged hehe.

Notably cool: elite gives you a huge 7 chests at the end. (normal has only 1)

511 kills.. And it's not that we were trying to kill as much as posssible - we were heavily focused on the required kills, I kept up max dps on them and nick had his DoTs going full speed.. It's that we would of gotten slaughtered if we didn't keep up with the respawn - it's incredibly fast and relantless.. Goes to red alert quickly and never lets up. On my first run i saw something like 90 dogs at once lol, nearly crashed my computer just trying to get the soul stones outa there.

Nick (groan) did most of the heavy lifting handling all the dog agro/slaying. I focused on the magefire canons (those are the key to completing this), and tried to keep the orb constructs to a reasonable level as they respawn just as fast. (forgot there exact name, but they are evil little caster orb things that debuff you and constant nail you with fast casting force/lightning spells) They have sub 100 hp tho, so a quick supreme cleave took out several at a time.

After what was an extremely long and tough fight.. A red named warforged titan spawns with a couple budies. He's pretty tough also but nothing compared to the fight getting up to him.

Very tough fight. Felt like another one of those "Aurora the wicked" elite kinda things where the devs never really expected anyone to be able to beat it. (Thus why there is another way which is 90000 times easier)

Tho theres no reward for doing it this way unfortunately, other then the satisfaction of completing such an insane fight, and oh yea we got conquest bonus! heh. Could maybe toss in at least a bonus chest after killing that million hp red named titan at the end.

Thanks nick, awesome job. Really didn't expect us to beat it, well I kinda did.. Just maybe not on the first go.

So yea if your looking for a new challenge.. Give this a go. Pretty fun. And hey the huge amount of mana pots you'll probably need to do this are free on lamannia too (well if you picked up some free points already)

Heh yea- I went in here on solo on norm and tried screwing with the wheels while a hundred of those cannon dudes spawned everywhere. Was lots of fun cleaning them all up even on norm. Elite should be wicked.

If he would have focused on buffing and healing you like he is supposed to you would have out killed him for sure. He probably wouldn't have died either. He is pretty noob. I will talk to him tonight in channel about how he should use his blue bar in the future.
