My next life will be as a fighter. My barbarian has been the hardest (by far) life that I've done so far. I would like to get some feedback on any fighter builds that would be more user friendly. I have see a few already, would like a few more suggestions before I tr again ;-)

Helf cleric dilly for heal scrollin emergencys...., although mine was a dwarf and i actually felt that barbarian life was fairly easy soloed most of it (with a healer hireling babbysittin) everything died so fast i never took much damage even without uber gear. meh just learned to leave hireling at safe spots and call him when needed usually after larger encounters.

It's how I'm getting fighter PLs.

The above guy's is good too. Unarmed Kensai II is the general gist (very fun and fast), and both builds give you that.

One way is even 1 Rogue, 12 Fighter, 7 Monk for some umd, but it wouldn't be that high until close to cap, and by then you'll just be tring soon probably.

Precocious is a 12/7/1, and at level 17 he was (is??) throwing GH scrolls with a 50/50 chance, and he was totally slumming it with the Golden Cartouche

Even if you don't factor in UMD, the ability to Open Lock for extra XP along the way is nice. Plus, the extra sneak attack damage for stunned mobs.

I believe I went 1 Rogue, 3 Monk, 12 Fighter, then finished with monk. I thought I could use Fists of Light for self-healing, but with the double-stuns, they died so fast I had a hard time getting any health off 'em.

Not a bad problem to have.

And don't forget to splash monk for Wind Stance. AC + Doublestrike - what could go wrong?

My fighter life went fine with 2 levels of rogue, enough UMD to scroll heal at a decent %

My fighter still has 2 rogue levels, and she will prob keep them even when she TRs. She could UMD heal scrolls pretty good by lvl 15-16--and that is around where you really need to be more reliable. Plus Evasion. And you can choose to do traps if you want for even more xp. My last ranger life often times i would do traps while my caster friend or group went ahead and did most of the quest objectives.

Anyway Guen, you have to think of who you group with most of the time, many of use never use hirelings, and the ones we do use are for haste, not healing

I find the 12 Fighter/8 Monk thing a blast to play and it was very easy to level too. I did mine Monk and then fighter levels, which leaves you getting Kensai II at 20, which might not be best for you if you're planning to TR right quick.

If you already have the monk PL on the toon, and get the Reinforced Fists outfit, you could probably do 3 or 4 monk then 12 fighter then the rest monk to get Kensai II sooner and still have solid fist damage.

Lol, yeah i was thinking the same thing, I prob wouldn't get re-invited to most of my groups if I brought a hireling healer ;-)

Who cares its your TR and seems like you want to get threw it quick..Hireling healer will save you alot of time with pots and plat..more plat for xp pots then

Im just referring to our groups which generally 1-3 pikers, often time no healer at all
