No souls cant wear armor and GS but the Horc shaman was nice enough to Fed Ex all your trash to you that you left at the bottom of his pretty tree. ::REALITY:: Dont eat anything bigger then a +2 Tome if you plan on TR'ing , **sidenote** +2 Tomes are not a big deal they drop anywhere towards end game, you can get em in the AH, you can get em straight from turbine so stop the crying already

No. Keep +4 tomes as a rewarding experience. TR should be a rewarding a rewarding experience.

He can, if you have them. If you've consumed them, you're out of luck. Just like he won't send all the haste pots/cure pots/scrolls you've used through out your life either.

Agreed, though people still won't like it. Crafting is knowledge and experience. You already lose that.

Also, even though it would negatively affect me, it really doesn't make sense that crafting levels stay. I don't actually want it to change lol, but I realize it shouldn't be this way.

The threads won't stop because it is offensive to the playerbase to rid them of a raid item while trying to progress their characters.

You remember your crafting xp, you're memory is good enough to recall up to 30+ past lives, you eember that you have all this gear in your bank sitting waiting to be equipped, then you can recall a measly inherent bonus as well.

A tome is destroyed when you read it. Or at least the magic is. I don't have a description in front of me but I recall it saying something like "the magic is gone after reading it leaving a mundane book".

Agree with the OP. Tomes, like your potions, are gone.

Is this to my advantage? No. I have lost several +3 tomes based on my decision to TR different toons that had them prior to TR even being an option. I also don't blame people for not wanting to lose their +3/+4 tomes.

As for crafting experience, I agree. It has never made any sense, other than as an inducement to get people to use the system, that the experience did not go away.

This is due to the story elements that they used to introduce crafting to the world, having you be a "personal" crafter, and an overly complex system for crafting.

If they had made crafting something you turned in ingreeds for to someone ELSE (like an Artificer), and you built up a Family based reputation with that crafter who built you and your heir's items, it would have made much more sense.
