I really like this, it really supports the addition of greater thought in PVP, longer battles, and testing down there.
Personally i PVP all the time and its always fun for me, and still will be after this.

This is, IMO, a great way to improve PvP without putting any dev time into it. Thumbs up.

man... the fights in there are gonna be awesome now. i wonder how effective divine punishment will be in there now. its not like people will be able to heal themselves through it, they got too much hp.
I foresee MUCH ducking for cover behind the walls of the lobster in the future.

This is a pretty large downgrade to AA rangers and sorcerers. Oh well, PVP was fun while it lasted.
Why is it such a bad thing now that people cant drop one shot or drop many shot people like the trend seems to be now. The quality of pvp and the players and there attitudes in there were getting out of control. I am glad there is now a chance again to level the playing field even if its only a slight change in hp conditions. Still not much of a challange to a real caster or aa.

This is from the perspective from an arcane, for whatever that is worth:
1. Spell absorb items (mantle, ioun stone) are now useless
2. Cleric/FVS can now very easily win against any class
3. Past life magic missiles are now useless
4. Low level players of any class can now not kill each other
This is a very poorly thought out change. The fact that this is going to go into production is a good enough reason to not bother investing any more time in a character that is tailored toward PVP.
The problem, of course, is that I spent hundreds of hours leveling/gearing up a character under the assumption that such a bad gameplay change wouldn't be put into place. My character is sitting at level 5 as a TR, with the plan to TR twice (once for past life:mm and then again back into a sorc) - now there is no reason to even play the character, because the entire reason why I was TRing was to get a past life feat which will now become useless.
The only reason why I kept playing was from the fun of pvping, after all of the pve content became boring and repetitive. Anyway, that is my perspective on all of this. It's really not that big of a deal, they probably won't have many people stop playing over it other than people who are in the same position as me.

Melees can rejoice, but still good luck taking down 3000 HP from my sorc before I take out 3000 of your HP. With my FvS, good luck there too. I'll have 5000 HP and divine spells and DR still.
