An Artificer's pet will be important enough that the other players actually care what it's hitpoints are? Wow...

However, I can think of many places to insert a Pet Health bar that cause a zero increase to the vertical size. Option 1: The place where Ki bars go now.

Ahh, cool. Makes sense too in the long run for the space. I will spread the word on this, cause there are a ton of topics about the gap and no one thought of the pet bar.

There's no artificer/monk dual classing? (Is there an alignment restriction)? Or you're just saying that Ki isn't something anyone else in the party cares to see. How will we make fun of monk/artificers hitting portals that aren't using their Ki!?... and have a dead pet???

Also... will there be an addition of ranger "pets" and wizard "familiars" in a similar pet sense some update?

Basically yeah, other people don't need to see your Ki. And even if someone does make a multiclass Monk/Artificer, the cannon is uncentered and won't let you have Ki while it's there.

One thing we're working on right now is make the UI option that hides your portrait revert to a minimalist vitals bar, removing portrait, level, name(s) etc to maintain compatibility for players. It won't be exactly as it was before, but should be fairly close.
Can we get autoattack back on it too?

Would be much better if the party list compacted-down if the party members on that row aren't the right class to summon a pet, so that we don't need to waste all this vertical space. Heck, collapse even further if the party members on that row have no SP/KI bar (or make the HP bar double-height to use that space).

Also really want to be able to re-order the party list at will.

Put the Auto Attack toggle on your hotbar. (Not quite the same, but I think I like this better, since I can assign a hotkey to it.)
In case you haven't found it: Character Sheet->Feats->drag Attack feat to a hotbar.

This should be made a default assignment on new characters, just like Sneak etc starts out on your hotbar.

If u don't like auto attack on ur hotbar, go to gameplay settings, and click option auto attack on double click.

In case nobody catches it, the 3bar version of the party healthbar, possibly just the foreground, doesn't seem to be skinnable. The other elements for the new hp/sp party and larger personal bar are and it does look like the background for the party 3bar is skinning correctly as well (it's just horribly obscured by the problematic foreground).

For skinners, the large healthbar image is now 272x87. The small party healthbar images are 111x43.

What if we don't care about one classes pets health? Can you add an option to the UI that turns off those bars and tightens up the other ones to be more compact?

No, but the Arty will. They're constructs. He has repair infusions.

    The new design is repulsive.

With it being a waste of (1440x900) 17" screen space aside, MyDDO is already an invasion of privacy. To have Hit Points and Spell Points continually monitored is ridiculous.

I play a healer. If I see the red bars disappearing, I know to toss out a Heal. I play a Fighter. If I see the blue bars disappearing, I know to quaff potions. It's not rocket science.

I also don't need to see my character portrait. I know which character I am playing and what he looks like.

And where the Hell is my Auto-Attack?! I'm constantly switching it off / on depending on the current situation.

Leave the HP/SP/Auto-Attack bar alone and fix something that really deserves the extra attention.

As a main cleric i like the idea of seeing the HP - mostly during levelling so I can pick the appropriate spell to conserve SP. But it needs to be tight. Why not keep it as tight as possible and add pets in a separate UI box that can be placed anywhere (or even clsoed like the quest objectives box- so for those that don't care about the pets don't get cluttered up).....

Also I would like to see a control bar for your pet(s) kind of like hirelings so you can tell summons what to do in some cases.

    Please lose the circle somehow.

I like the way the group bars are squished horizontally, they take up quite a bit of room on my 17" laptop screen now, but they seem to have been extended vertically. I'm going to assume that if they run out of vertical room they'll either be behind my chat window/hotbars or make yet another column to monopolize more screen.

If DDO was designed that that it would run on a Pentium 4, please keep in consideration that people will be playing on lower end machines.
