Default Maybe I am missing it..

I have always heard fist wraps are the best weapon for monks over kamas short swords etc but hand wraps are tied in to that TWf but they do not take any of the - to attack so why take the TWF feats? would not others be better?

The TWF line adds off-hand attacks; we don't take a penalty for the off-hand, so that part of the feat doesn't help us except when using kamas, shortswords, longswords, etc.

The TWF feats take your off-hand attack rate from 20% to 80%. There are no other feats that could possibly do more for your melee dps. Important side-note: monks off-hand attacks get full strength bonus, so TWF does comparatively more for a monk than any other class.
