    Default Perfect Quest Window

The original idea came up from here:
Show how many times and on what difficulties you've done the quest

In the above link the main idea was for showing information in the window which appears when you press P.
This thread is a suggestion for Quest Window.

The number of completions is interesting not just for keeping track of XP, but also for your own statistics.

Ransacked chest timer shown is for the last ransacked chest.
Other chests timers are present too, but they change only the number of ransacked chests.

A similar window could have Raids too, with the raid timer included.
But it seems that the raid timer is for the quest giver, not the quest.
It could be in Quest window too, with OK button disabled until timer goes off.

I like this idea, but I still like the original idea you linked to better. Ideally we should have both, but I do think its most important to be able to get your answers before showing up at the quest door.

    I love this idea!!

(btw, please forgive me, I tried to give you pos rep and accidentally hit the 'report' button, nothing seems to have happened but I'm sorry about that, I hope this explanation suffices, and that there;s no 'action' for you to have to deal with now....again, sincere apologies for the mistake *blush*)

    Great idea though! +1

I love the concept, have actully wished for this from the very beginning.

Good idea. No idea how hard it would be to implement, but I think it would be a welcome change.

Yes, of course, the information about completions should be shown in Quest Window and in the Favor window (button P). But in Quest window we should also see ransack timer.

This and your other idea are excellent. This portrayal of the quest entry window is a lot cleaner. Good job. I also like the idea of showing the number of times the quest has been done in the patron panel (if that's the right name). Very handy to see it there as well.

I prefer it to be in Quest window instead, with OK button disabled until timer goes off.
If this was just an addition and not an "instead" then I'm all for it. If it was an instead as you suggest then I have to disagree completely. Most groups only enter once a party is full and being able to get the quest and only see you off timer once you get to the quest would prove to be extremely irritating for everyone involved. Most quest timers are seen by someone sharing and getting the "not enough time has passed since.." message or by the fact the q-giver has no blue icon. Running to shavarath, meridia, HoX / VoD, Titan, Abbot etc, standing around after getting the quest and then hitting the window to find you on timer is not a good idea.
Adding it on would be a decent idea because it would be an alternative (note alternative not solution) to those who don't know of the /quest command.

Epics alone would make this a bad choice and the /quest command still more viable.

The rest of your suggestion is brilliant so thumbs up.

My added suggestion would be to create a timer on either your character sheet or quest panel. No new player knows of the /quest command until they find out they actually are on timer and can't enter. Adding in a friendly GUI somewhere with a list of timers would make a lot of stress and embarrassment go away. For epics, raids, ransacking, spell swapping, LR's/GR's/TR's etc etc, a timer panel would rock.

The ransack timer is impractical to implement.

Totally agree on the completion counter, though.
