Default Tactics and Tumble - 2 questions

    1) what does the tactics line (dwarf and warforge) boost for monks?
Specifically does it boost the finishing moves and the various other strikes or is it just stunning fist?

    2) I recently read a post (but cant find it again - fail search) that mentioned AC bonuses from tumble last 20-30 seconds after you tumble - thus if you tumble every 20 sec you can increase your sustainable AC. Has anyone done any tests regarding this? If so a caped water stance monk with mobility would get something like +12ac.

    Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure how much help this is but:

1). I don't know. My guess is that it would probably help the sunder and unbalancing strike DC's but as for the finishing moves...I would guess no.

2). I believe that bonus is simply a lag in the character sheet and not a true retention. Could be wrong here too though.

I also would like more information on #1 specifically from those who may know.

It states that the bonus remains "until the Character takes an action"
Gordy - A Tribe Called Zerg - Cannith
    Agordmil - Agordmils - Byoh - Crocodylia - Schrödingers - MooseAlert - Zufallig - Mooselicker

I've been told that if you tumble, and not move, the AC bonus stays with your character until you move, however I have not tried this on my tempest since it's use is only truely useful tanking a main boss and not trash.

However, if it does work as such, then a monk in ocean stance would gain a total of 12 AC while tumbling (then fighting)... and then an extra 2 to 3 ac from increasing their wisdom and sometimes dex depending on other stance... so up to 15 ac bonus from this... hmmm

So "until the character takes an action" includes blocking I'm guessing?

blocking is considered an action, yes.. though I'm not totally sure if attacking is considered an action in that sense... if it's not, then I just found a way for my monk to hit 100 ac self buffed...

Block before the tumble, maybe that doesn't count?

Attacks certainly count as actions though.

From the description of the enhancement, I would have to say no.
Grants a +1 bonus on the DC of combat feats making it harder for your enemies to resist your combat maneuvers such as Stunning Blow, Sunder, and Trip.

Stunning Fist I know is affected, however I'm not 100% sure if quivering palm is, I'm leaning towards yes, the rest, no.
