Blowing yourself up on the boat in Irestone Inlet.

However that is also my favorite way to die!

    (Oh memories!)

heres a couple ways that I hate...

    relics quest:
running down the very first corridor, before you get to the door, cutting the corner to sharply, falling into the lava pit twice in a row <groan> *ding* *ding* followed by comments like "bwaaahahahaha", "really? twice?" and "can someone raise the cleric... again"

    any quest:
getting incapped, slowly dropping 1 hp per round, then finally stabilizing because the Mantle finally kicks in... and along come a kobold/orc/orth, tiefling, etc who swats you for no good reason and *ding*...

    ToD
Judge and Jailer part, cursed, die end up in penalty box... getting a scroll rez and 10% hp back, hop in lava, head towards shrine and *ding*... burnt to a crisp because you forget to heal/drink a pot, whatever... - and- getting the badge in the final fight, having the quest go haywire and fail, rez out - with the badge still in effect, and *ding* dead at your rez spot <sigh>....

Rainbow in the dark , someone steps on a button everyone dies but my monk who barely survives , looking like a hero to get everyone to the shrine. Got incepted once and turned off wind stance to stand back up. Barriers drop and one lone mob and I think cool easy enough , click windstance for the fight and ding.

Hero to zero in 10 sec.

    ----
Side note did they change that recently? I think I tried to wind stance with low hp and I don't think it let me.
It was a rather inebriated evening so I might have been not doing what I think I was doing.
Move along , Nothing to see here

WW (I think we were doing only hard, some PC was low level...)
First, something happens and we get in an argument: I keep calm, play the mature, speak clear, slow, without screaming "people calm dow, you always get so stressed".
Minutes later, have to pass swimming the tunnel where you have to pull the lever several times to open and close the doors.
"Pull...PULL.... PULLLLLL.... PULLL THE F.::REEEZING.LEVEEEEERRRR" (hysterical, high peached voiced)
incap a few inches above surface...ding seconds later. All my coolness watered..

Least favorite way to die in DDO: Fall into lava at Twelve. Really, really embarrassing.

Least favorite way DDO way to die in real life: That one is hard, as there are so many painful ones. Probably lava pool in Sorrowdusk -- it does not cause that much damage so takes a long time, but it's a pit with vertical walls and no way to escape.

The only things missing were darkness and sounds of breathing.

Do you mean the trap which sends you into fire elemental room? I love it because my ranger barely gets singed there... and carries everyone's stones to the shrine!

I was in goggles in abbot and saw roids was having trouble or something and they all had low health. So me being on my caster i know i threw rage so i looked at my buff bar and saw it had like 20-30 seconds left so i type in chat "Watch out for my rage to wear off " and what do you know 3 people died in roids after it was completed.

Still dunno how it came but : in the sub, while jumping between platforms on my monk to open the way to VoD i managed to die in the middle of an abundant step; quite far from the middle column.... hum how embarassing my soul stone is down the pit now
On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero

Falling off the bridges in House Kundarak, find yourself on the only safe spot down there and having no way to get out without stepping onto the black and dying.

I have two that drive me nuts. Both are from the Lordsmarch chains.

First, Blockade buster: At the control panel make detinator, advise all to stay away from the panel in chat and text. Someone who entered after we loot the chest, sees us disappear loots quickly and open mine hatches with 5 second delay. Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding go the rest of us on the lower decks. Some choice words for the survivor and soulstone on the seafloor. (Now, i know why Homer strangles Bart). Happens about every third run, squelch list growing and growing.

Second, Siegebreaker (i think): Clearing mine field with droam charges, set charge, turn to run, step on mine, fail save, come on balance skill, stand up, boooooommmmm. -1598 hp is the lowest any of my characters had ever been. Winning
