I find I am once again running low on pack space. While I did get the fourth backpack slot, it is quickly filling up and I find I have to hit the crafting hall after each quest to have enough open slots for the next quest. I'm still saving up for the Medium Collectables bag, as it is the collectables that are really taking up a lot of space. Sadly, I still have several thousand plat to go before I can afford one.

I would suggest turning in your Amulet of the Lost Empire, Amulet of the Six, Blade of the Dark Six, Funerary Token, Mark of the Keeper, Signet of the Devourer, Small Wooden Idol and String of Prayer Beads. All of those are very common drops so they are easily replaced. Only Small Wooden Idol and String of Prayer Beads will you be using any time soon - the others are for recipes level 29 and up.

When you buy the Medium Collectables Bag, don't throw away the small one. Keep it in your bank for additional storage.

Edit: Have you seen the list of the 33 collectables that are used for crafting?

Hey Ron, I just found this thread, hope it is still going well. Interestingly, I had started a solo challenge about 6 months ago with nearly identical rules and an identical build, right down to the Half-Elf Dilettante Feat: Paladin! There were two substantial differences.

1. No limiting questing to once per level and having to do everything in the quest.
2. Permadeath! No dieing, no res shrine, nothing.

I made it to level 9. Ended up failing in Tear on Elite. Sleetstorm was my downfall. Surrounded, couldn't see, couldn't move, and they finished me off. I may try again eventually.

Whew, permadeath huh? Yipes! You are braver than I am

Things are going reasonably well. I've taken a bit of a break (what can I say, Skyrim and Saints Row 3 came out, so they have the majority of my playtime right now). But I'll be coming back to it sooner or later.

I find I'm still meleeing quite a bit more than I expected to be. Which is actually okay. I think solo melee builds tend to flame out somewhere around levels 8-10. Hopefully around the time I hit those levels, my spells will pick up the slack. Should be interesting to find out what happens.
