    Exclamation In Game Loading Issue

    I have been playing DDO for over a year now, and this is the first time I've had a serious issue. I played yesterday between 10 a.m. and noon with no problem; however, when I logged back in at around 2 p.m., the game was VERY slow to load, and I could hardly move my character. I attempted several times throughout the evening, and the problem just got worse. The precise problems are 1.the character will only move a few steps then freeze, 2. access to bank, merchants, or mailbox takes several minutes to load, and 3. the help tab, quest compendium, and ddo store will not load.

    I have no problems with my internet connection, no trouble downloading from other sites, ran all available diagnostics and virus scans, performed a clean boot (the problem still persisted), and even tried a system restore to before the problem began. Unfortunately, none of these tasks resolved the issue. Any other suggestions, or could there possibly be a bug? I do know that nobody else that I've spoken with is having trouble, and chat mode works perfectly within game.

    After contacting support, log into your email webpage to add noreply@turbine.com and accountsupport@turbine.com to their "safe senders" list and your contacts list/address book. Be sure to check Spam/Junk Mail folders as well since most email providers do not let external email programs or cell phones download mail flagged this way.

    Yes, that must have been the issue...interestingly enough, I logged onto the game just after I posted the issue, and everything worked fine. Wish I would have made that connection yesterday! Would have saved me an immense amount of time Thanks again!
