So your in a group/PUG for an Elite run and someone else steps in on normal (happens all the time). You get your streak snapped and it is no longer a 'virgin' quest to you. Is there NOW a in game way to beat down someone who messed with your character XP? Or can you leagally grief them till they learn squelch you?
I can see it now Turbine Sanctioned griefing... I don't like "XYZ" so i'm gonna join their group Elite XP gropup and $%#$% with their XP on purpose.. ...OOPS!.. MY BAD! ...I', SOooo sorry... MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!

You are correct, it says UPON COMPLETION (averted a cloose one there!)

Wait, can you hear it? Is it? The worlds smallest vio..nah... nevermind... it can't be, its too small..
My vote is
1. For premium accounts the option to buy hard unlock server wide at the same cost as shared bank.
2. Server unlock hard upon TR

No thanks.
When people made the decision to go VIP or Premium... they made it on knowledge of current perks. Now, I understand that bonuses are in flux... but the fact of the matter is, I spent a good 150 dollars or so on the decision to go Premium.
Your suggestion still allows VIPs to effectively get double the bonus xp as Premium TRs... and Premium single life characters get nothing. That's a bit more of a bonus than can really be considered fair there.
I made the decision to go premium even knowing that I couldn't open elite. But compounding that to make it so that I'm getting a lot less xp on TRs is a bit much. I know VIPs want their perks... but I don't think it should add such a substantial benefit to in game characters.
I mean... would it be fair if the new VIP perk was that VIP characters need half the xp to level as premiums? (who often spent just as much money as the VIPs)?
I could live with single TR - hard... double TR - elite. I think that would be fair... but not having any way to open elite? No.

Well if the allow a TR to open on Hard, which would get you a bravery bonus, then the nextime you run the quest you could run it on Elite. I too am a Premium player, but I think VIP's still need the advantage of being to open on Elite and as shcu this should stay as a VIP Perk.
Where is my GREATBOW???
Again.. being able to open elite after opening hard is completely irrelevant to the xp hurdles. You are no longer a virgin to the quest after a hard completion, and thus can never begin to create an elite streak.
Having a perk to open on elite is an alright perk for VIPs I guess. Being able to get added xp on top of that perk is a bit much.
I guess this all depends on your perspective, but don't VIPs already get 20% more XP than non-VIPs (if you consider the fact that they get enough store points to keep themselves loaded up on XP potions)?
Exactly, your getting unlimited access to content without buying it, free turbine points, and access to all classess and races without buying it. Its a subscription to content, to think that the "ONLY" reason to stay ViP is to be able to open quests on Elite the first time you run them is just absurd.
Consider: Allow a true reincarnated character to open a quest at whatever difficulty their previous life had successfully completed.
If you want to go with the "past memories" precedent and keep a stronger "VIP perk", then at least let a true reincarnate open a quest on hard that they had completed the life before on elite. "You remember something about this cave from your past life..."
This has the benefit of encouraging more elite runs, life after life.
lol MF what world do you play in? How many store points does you VIP subscription get you? With the promotion on right now I could get not even 3 major xp potions. I like to play many different characters if I keep them all on 20% XP potions I am buying extra turbine points and lots of them.
Not really. Remember, we're getting the points that we can use for those pots because we're paying money into the game. My wife and I have been VIP for about 18 months. Yes, the points are nice, but we still spend money on the store because we don't get enough to buy pots as often as we'd like.
Hey Mad, what happens on in initial load of U11 with the bravery bonus?
Is a quest that was run once on norm PRE update U11 considered virgin or spoiled?
If all the quests don't start virgin, do we get credit for the quests we ran just before update if they would have generated a bonus?
