I've often wondered, what with guild swapping, guilds dying, and changing, etc., just how many of the long-term Argonauts have been in a guild with one another at some point over the years. I swear... they should just rename us "Sloppy Seconds" and just get it over with.

That, and you just made me a little sad there for a second.

SS Novus Vinco, a (moderately) great ship, once sailed high on buoyant cerulean waves- a Queen on the unforgiving seas of Arrogance and Mockery. She was an august vessel for her young age, with a small, yet plucky crew as disparate as the bounty of the sea. But like every candle that burns too bright, her light began to falter, until it was no more. Now just a shadow of her once mighty self, she eternally roams the waters in search of her loyal crew in vain. Some say that the crew of the SS Novus Vinco still walk the Earth, continuing in their quest for novelty and adventure. They are said to have scattered their ranks, quietly joining finding the company of others, assimilating anonymously into existing bands of like-minded folk. Others have through choice or circumstance simply disappeared.

Legend has it that when the moon is at it's fullest and only at the start of a storm, you might catch a glimpse of the proud ship in the distance sorrowfully rocking on the roiling waves. Many have set sail in her direction, but she cannot be approached, always just out of the range of those who seek her. She is a relic of a lost age, now... a legend destined to lure, but never deliver.

May she find her peace, and may the living spirits of the deep bless her and allow her rest from her toil. She did not sail long, but she sailed with heart. This is the Legend of the SS Novus Vinco- her demise was swift, yet her narrative will always be with us so long as there are still men to tell of her lore.
