Is it possible to upgrade the Silver Flame Nugget further after it has been upgraded to a Silver Flame Talisman in Necropolis Part 3?

I believe if you do the final upgrade and get an item you can get another nugget and upgrade again, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Anybody know for sure? (Because a 14 minute nightshield clicky sounds great, but not at the expense of my beholder slaying item!)

Definitely, you can create as many in a row as you like and get as many end rewards from the tier 4 upgrade, you just can't have more than one talisman at a time.

Just summarizing a bit:

The next "upgrade" after the 10 charge Silver Flame Talisman will make the item revert to a Nugget, and give you a choice of armour from the Nugget quest giver. That armour is the only non-event source of Nightshield that lasts longer than one minute, so it's not a truly horrible thing for a melee to have in areas where Magic Missiles are used heavily. That final upgrade is done at the altar in the Black Abbot (Ascension Chamber) raid.

Once you do get your armour, you will be able to get another Silver Flame Nugget, and then you can run Cursed Crypt 3 times (or some other combination that gives you access to an altar, a tier 2 or higher altar, and a tier 3 or higher altar) to get a Silver Flame Talisman made again.

You can actually just run Abbot 4 times as well, if you're not in a hurry.
