If the toon is named after a beer 17 of them are mine & 1 more not named after a beer (the black sheep of the family). Beware there are a few beer imposters out there. Unless the toon has been "Banned From All Guilds" it's a fake Beer_Dude. Fake Beer in your group leaves a nasty taste.

Dude I don't know what you're talking about. When have I ever picked on you, made fun of you, or called you names in game. I've done nothing but treat you like a brother. Oh wait that's what I did to my little brother the whole time we were kids and still now as adults. OK you may have a point.

Bards can die after the song ends. Just kidding. I like to put starter rags on my toons before I log off to fool people that like to Myddo search for entrance into LFMs.

I think the issue is that many of the 2009-2011 players actually think you CAN'T possibly complete it at level, or even with a few at level characters. I've been turned down on a L15 because "i'm too low level".

Heck, as you know we used to complete on L13-16s with transmuting of PG weapons, and here I was carrying a holy, silver, of GLOB and I'm getting turned down...its sad really.

To be fair, the first time I ever led a Shroud (also the first time I ever led a raid), I turned down a wizard because "we already have 2 arcanes." I just didn't know any better and was repeating what I had seen done previously. Now that I've run the Shroud over and over (and over and over and over) again, I am really sorry I did so and wouldn't do it again.

I'm sure many of the newer players are in the same boat I was back then. Being a part of, or reading about, at-level raids with non-standard parties will help people to understand what is possible.

It is truly sad. I love the 18-20 link bb shroud runs posted by dudes with less than 100% fort. Or the vod no noob runs posted by rangers with a 13 con 261 hp and less than 100% fort. Stuff like this always just floors me. Thats why I love Beers runs or Em's runs or anyone who posts one for fun. Granted they attract like minded skilled players so the runs go smooth.

I want the all caster drunken shroud run. Mid way through the evening. That way we know we are all hammered and will still complete. And we wont have a barb so we will be doomed .
Toons are in a constant state of flux. Khyber server.

Yes, I had my wisdom tooth removed at 34 years old. That's why I missed the runs.

Both of my lowers are at 80%-99% horizontally impacted. The top ones are straight, but so high up, they're almost in my sinus cavity.

All four are gonna come out eventually. Not looking forward to it

Listen to all you youngsters whining about a little dental work. I had all four of my wisdom teeth out on the same day under local and some nitrous. Two days later a piece of my jawbone worked its way through the gash where my lower right wisdom tooth used to be. Pfft.

Was under level when he removed my wisdom teeth. I didn't ask him to link any of the dental instruments or wait for an assistant or with just the right hygienist prestige enhancement either.

Obviously I'm one of the newer players here, the join date is accurate. And I will confess that I was a little intimidated by the very specific LFM messages once I finally flagged. So from the new player perspective, I definitely appreciated the willingness of the Beer Dude and others to take a less experienced player along. I'm sure those of you that have run with me probably could pick out the newness from the quality of heals you've gotten, although I'd like to think I'm getting better.

All that aside, what about the concept of a below level Shroud? Even though with TRs with greensteel, etc it isn't going to be apples to apples comparison to how it was when you first ran it, I would very much like to see what I can learn from a run where everyone has to stretch more and be a little more challenged. I have a level 13 barbarian that I could work on getting flagged over the next week or two if there was any interest in an all level 14-16 run. The way I see it, even a failure is going to teach me how to play the game and run the raid better.

I'd be down for it. I have a 15 bard that I could flag, and I'll be TR'ing a toon this weekend (approx) and it would only take me a week or so to get him flagged again after.

And just so we're clear: It's not that *even* a failure will teach you. That's an understatement. You actually learn the most from failures. And they're usually a lot of fun as well, unless the failure was due to someone forgetting to put on their special helmet.
And the runs that go south, and then are pulled from the fire, are the most fun you'll ever have playing DDO.

Spath you are a stud. I'm down for that anytime if i have a toon in range. OMG we might fail. How horrid would that be? BFD. We face that every week in every drunken raid run. OMG we need a barbarian or we can't get the quest don. LOL

You put it together I'm in, just let me get a level appropriate toon
If the toon is named after a beer 17 of them are mine & 1 more not named after a beer (the black sheep of the family). Beware there are a few beer imposters out there. Unless the toon has been "Banned From All Guilds" it's a fake Beer_Dude. Fake Beer in your group leaves a nasty taste.
