Why didn't you say that in the first place?

I may be casual but I am a pretty good player. Your OP said I shouldn't join your parties. This one says, Join! Very confusing.

THere is a BIG difference between Good Players and Bad. The builds they play are fluff.

And there are still people who wonder why I stay away from that "epic" crowd.

OP feel free to add my toons to your list so I in no way endanger your awesome questing with my need to play a game for fun and enjoyment

    You got me there.
If the toon is named after a beer 17 of them are mine & 1 more not named after a beer (the black sheep of the family). Beware there are a few beer imposters out there. Unless the toon has been "Banned From All Guilds" it's a fake Beer_Dude. Fake Beer in your group leaves a nasty taste.

It's a PUG not your friends/guilds. Why not lower your expectations such that you are occasionally pleasantly surprised?

The epic runs/raids that go sideways with an incredible recovery are hands down the best fun to be had in DDO.

The measure for a successful player is not in how smooth the runs go, its who shines when ish hits the fan.

I'll grumble internally about taking those toons on random epics, but for ones where dps actually matters....if you ever look in a mirror and say things like; "those guys take the game too seriously", "My build is a lot of fun even if it doesn't put out really good damage" then stay away please.

And for shroud...what is with you people? When you have two healers who are almost completely full on sp when the three bits of trash go down in part 5 what are you waiting for? If you don't have fire resist and freedom of movement complain to the healers/arcanes about it, but I promise...it won't kill you.
For shroud, just nuke it yourself. They usually get the clue and start killing it themselves, or you can just let everyone die when harry reaches a HP level where you know you can solo him down . What I do everytime I solo heal shroud, though everyones usually good with killing the mini-bosses on request.

    Well a little challenge:
    a) Please order those from the most welcome to the least welcome type of player in your group:

    1) Tukaw fun build
    2) lvl 20 Barbarian without Frenzied Berserker
    3) lvl 20 Rogue with 200 HP and 75% Fortification
    4) Bastard Sword Kensai fun
    5) PM / Monk with DoT's and over 30 STR
    6) Blitz without Barbarian Past Life
    7) 18 FvS/1Wiz/1Rgr AA who constantly demands to be healed
    8) 14 Bbn/6 Ftr - Master of Pew Pew

    b) What of those are considered as 'fun' rather than high end dps builds?

    c) Assuming your success in eChrono doesnt depend on the min/maxiness of 1-2 dps spots. You have 2 fun builds in your group and you fail - what does that say about the rest of your group?

That's because he spends so much time up in that high mountain are so his mind gets clear. His balls freeze of but his head clears.

I'm deriving lots of entertainment from confusing PUGs with my singing, lockpicking, trapsmithing, haste casting ... thing with a Barbarian symbol ATM while I wait for my 20th VON. (10 Frenzied Bezerker, 8 Warchanter, 2 Rogue). I've had so much fun with this levelling build that I'm considering doing it again with another life - and maybe putting enough into Perform that I can also fascinate the bases in eVON6 (I'm almost there with this life, but not quite - not consistent enough that I would volunteer for the task, anyway).

(Oh. I forgot to mention. She's an elf)
Terebinthia, Terebynthia, Tereana, Tereaina, Tereanna, Terebyte, Terechan, Terebinthis
The Hand of the Black Tower, Khyber.
    Cupcakes welcomed.

    Default Smiles everyone! Smiles!

    The fear...lol

    You can't hide from it...

I am pretty sure all my toons are gimped. I got this from reading the forums.

    Gimped check list.

    1. No Litany of the Dead "Check"
    2. No Epic Chrono Set "Check"
    3. Havn't Soloed Elite Sins of Attrition in 2 min "Check"

    lmao

Threads like these pop up cause people are afraid of not meeting other players expectations either Real or Imagined. When they feel like they have to have something from whatever quest or raid in order to succeed (lol) and someone stands in the way with pure gimpness (opinion) it tends to get the panties all in a bunch.

    The fear...

Someone clicks altar after shroud part 4 before the healers (me being one of em) has shrined.

For the record 20 Drow Cleric (splat)...Start getn eveyone buffed, healin while running through puddle, then BAM...

Someone killed the ORC Lt. Boss whilst the healers had under 25% SP.

Harry gets dragged within healing range of a puddle Stack DP while throwing Maximized Quickened Empowered Heal Healz/Cure and running through the puddle.

Yall actually made me work for that Large Chain

Even better is for people to get their own.
