is this true? no EMAIL when it was viable?
i remember checking it before christmas 2010 and 14.2.2011 was last day to transfer? THIS IS ******** O.o

so there was less than 2 months to transfer? and NO EMAIL when it was rdy? was this some kind of legal thing that thay had to give change to transfer? turbine rly is not player friendly O.o

all info welcome i would rly wanna know how this silent transfer thing did happen.

I think the first emails about it went out around last August, the transfers started around November if I remember correctly, they shut the transfer tool off in February of this year, so you had about 6 months to get it done, more than fair I think.

only email i got was from codemasters that u may allow from ur CODEMASTER account to share ur info to turbine and never did i got email when the transfer was rdy from trubine.

i would suggest a support ticket or the phone to find out if transfer still possible.
the tool was for mass transfer and is unuseable now.

in FAQ it says its no longer possible and its not Hhuge thing. i was just waiting for it because i had 3 accounts on ddosr and i did stop playing it like 6 months before it ended. when i herd it was become free i was thinking i give it new try now when the transfer is possible but... i was in army the whole time and i herd it was possible in november last year and i did check christmas last year and it was not possible or RLY hard to find O.o

just want to have the big picture why it was so hard / silent trasnsfer O.o no email... nothing...

everbody got emails, well i and the few others i know did,1st off codemasters then a while later turbine,
might have gone into spam folder.
i would have thought they still have the data so i couldnt see why it not possible.
have you spoken to anybody or just info from forums and other people.
all i can suggest is try speaking to a mod or contacting turbine somehow.
by the way tolero was the mod dealing with transfer queries at the time.

You know, they didn't HAVE to go thru all the trouble they did to make that transfer happen. Plus all the trouble-shooting afterwards to make sure as many folks got their characters successfully transfered as they could. Tri-lingual posts of all game announcements...

Failure to receive email (didn't check it, didn't have correct email set to account, email eaten by spam filter... etc.) does not support your assertion above.

There was a limited time to get it done because the CM servers were being taken down - the data simply does not exist any more (as far as we know). That's why it can't be done now.


As Wez said, you can try asking thru Account Support channels. Might go at it with a different approach, though.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I would rather post than have anyone get their hopes up despite the FAQ.

The FAQ is correct. There is absolutely no way that we can assist with any transfers from the previous European servers any more. The characters are not available, even for individual transfer. None of our support teams will be able to assist you.

Again, I'm sorry to have to confirm this, but wanted to confirm the FAQ sooner rather than later.

this answer to my question. so some people got email from turbine -.- i did not and not in filter.

well gl to those who did gain the transfer. this is it for ddo to me =)

and i still feel fooled ^^ so unclear / hard to follow / short timed transfer that people might not have time in their current stage of life to respawn to these 3 phased transfer in 2-6 months

edit: btw why isnt the free trubine points possible? O.o that makes no sense, just proofs my point =P
