Well, it could have been worse. He could have posted on the French or German forums instead, and then people wouldn't even have been able to understand him, let alone help him.

To the OP, you should look at some bard builds (in the specialists forum) or multiclass builds (in the multiclass forums).

Tbh, I think multiclassing is a rather bad idea if it's your first character, it adds one more element to potentially mess up in your build, and you don't really need one more of those when still learning the game. However, if it's really what you want to play and what you feel you'd enjoy most, go ahead.

Just don't be afraid of rerolling if you feel you've messed up your character or you're not having fun with it. Most of us here have made gimped builds when just starting, and rerolled several times to get an effective and fun to play character.
