    Default Microphone issues between accounts

A friend and I recently (since the last update) started having problems with voice chat and static. Both of us have tested our mics with other people, and neither of us have any problems with static then. But when the two of us group, she hears loud bursts of echo with static on her end when she speaks--not from me, and I don't hear it from either of us. It was fine before, and no hardware changes have been made. I have checked to make sure my audio controller has microphone selected instead of line-in, my gain is adjusted properly, have adjusted volume to avoid speaker static, have noise cancellation and echo suppression on and everything seems all right, but she is still getting a echo full of loud static that makes it impossible for her to use it, and it's only when grouping with me. We are baffled. Has anyone got any ideas why this might be happening?

I have a program downloaded for mine and its free. Type in under google "Team Speak3", it's a gaming software that might help work out the bugs.

Does she have push-to-talk enabled? (she should; if not, enable it)

Are you two in the same room?
