'Course, that one man has 5 accounts in it (never runs more than 3 at a time)...

I got one of my toons (and 2 that are unplayed for years) in my own guild....I rarely play much, but slowly going up...now almost 29.
If you play a lot it should go up really nice.

kinda lame the decay thing for casual players though. Can never really join a guild if you decide not to play for a few months at a time cause they have to drop you....and lose your guild renown you gained them...

its a lose-lose for casual gamers since in that 2 months the one man guild loses renown also..

they should make adjustment for casual player.....

Did have 3 other people in 'of Doom' on Khyber but they all left to play LOTRO and haven't come back.

We were level 26 when they left, now level 36, nearly 37.

I keep thinking I should chuck it in and join a bigger guild but it is also kind of cool having your own ship (even a gimpy level 36 one

Also hope my friends will get bored of LOTRO and come back

On Thelanis Siberys Touched is basically a one-man guild I've inherited (it was two-man when guild levels came out, went one-man back in October). Currently it is Guild Level 51.

I started my own guild because I couldn't stand most of the people in other guilds (WoW, I point to you!). However, I wound up joining another guild based on the same principle -Economy of Scale, which is all about "-join the guild, but don't bug me..." Guildless Guild is a similar concept I hear.

I've been since pleasantly suprised enough by a number of guilds on DDO that I know have toons in about 4 different guilds and I really do like most of the people in them.... *However* I still have my solo guild 'United Unguilded' (lvl 20) which I have some toons in. That way if when everything goes pear shape, I'll have my _own_ d*mn airship to fall back on....

Of course, the more I play, the more I realize that airships are useless.... If you don't die at least once during the adventure, you're not challenging yourself hard enough... (mind you that lvl 2 navigator is pretty sweet though...)

One of my best friends are in the current incarnation of Poision Idea (the band). They have gotten their act together after some tragedy.
