Teleporting into the Abbot's ascension chamber would be fun.
The current teleport fail location to only the marketplace is way too safe. While there does need to be more locations to fail to, we need locations that cause instant death or possible death scenarios... like teleporting into the the side of the mountain in the vale, or into the deep lava in the twelve.
Shavarath doesn't work because you cant go there in a raid party.
The Subterrane and house C wilderness areas are fair game. Randomly dropping into garamol's room would be really funny.

can we have greater teleport have a chance of failing ~its if one is affected all who take the tellie are affected~
(i can just see wizard cast greater tellie, somone takes it and instantly dies and wizard says, "Maybe I shouldn't take that teleport, let's recast!")

I would like to see teleport like that...but I'd also like to see greater teleport be able to use normal teleport locations and work in public instances. After all, greater teleport's biggest advantage in PnP is not being able to go to the wrong place (and possibly the whole take other people thing...if they're useful enough to take with me :P).

I think instanced locations are a problem to made, because they need to create an instance just for it. But general areas are fair game. What I would suggest:
-Top of lighthouse in Harbor
-Deep into lava pool in Twelve
-Falling into the laundry zone in Deneith
-Next to Fred, in Jorasco
-Very high into the guild vendor in Kundarak
-Livewood Theater, in the middle of the act.
-Your airship... but outside. Just enough to see it passing by and you falling.
-House Cannith patron's floating platform
-Underwater near the fishing bob in Inspired Quarter (maybe with the fisherman saying "I caught something!")
-Any tavern (F2P or not, you can't get from Threnal tavern into Threnal quest and such, but you can take the path back), except the one in Amrath.
-Any closed-instance shop (Feather Fall Apothecary and such).
-Old classic high-air in marketplace brige.
Randomizing the failure location also avoid the thing "oh, I failed while I'm trying to teleport to the market". And the random location also made you curious to where you landed instead of "let me just teleport again before I hit the ground"

The Devs can just make a map that looks like DB but populate it with all manner of nasties. It doesn't need to break or exploit anything
