Default Broken item effects in undead form

The item effects Boon of Undeath (on my Epic Cloak of Shadow and the Shroud of the Abbot), Shocking Blow (on my Greater Bold Trinket), and Greater Stone Prison (on my Petrifying Shadow Staff) all cease to function if I am in undead form and change robes, trinkets, or weapons respectively.

The only way I can get these item effects to function again is by coming out of undead form, changing robes / trinkets / weapons depending on which effect, and then changing back into undead form.

The Boon of Undeath bug seems to be known about:
    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=282805
And I have found this post which I believe is likely an instance of the same bug on the handwraps version of Greater Stone Prison:
    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=326280

A brief aside: another undead form item effect issue is that both my Mantle of the World Shaper and Pale Lavendar Ioun Stone absorb the spells Lesser Death Aura, Death Aura, and Negative Energy Burst. This appears to already be a known issue:
    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?p=3774684

I've bug reported both of these since neither appears in the list of known issues:
    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=150534
I think this is the official list I should be checking against; please let me know if I'm wrong.

The purpose of this post is to notify that I believe this bug is more widespread than just the Boon of Undeath effect, and also that the fix of changing out of undead form, and then changing from and back to the item with the bug, also appears to be more generally applicable.

Also, are there any other item effects which have this same bug with undead form?

Is there a method to fix these effects without having to change out of undead form? Perhaps if any of these item effects have a bug for non-undead characters they may have found a different work around which may be applicable here?

    Thanks.

Ok thanks, so there is more than just undead form going on with the spell absorption issue.

Interestingly, the negative energy version of vampirism, Vampire Form, doesn't get absorbed by my Mantle of the Worldshaper or my Pale Lavendar Ioun Stone.

I just acquired the Turbulent Epee and unfortunately its effect Turbulent Burst also suffers from this problem. Thankfully, it is at least solvable in the same way. I've bug reported it.

The same bug and fix also appear to apply to:
    Wild Frenzy on Insanity
Shrieking Bolt on Wind Howler Bracers
Nightmare Guard on Night Hag's Heartstone

It seems clear to me that there is indeed a fairly widespread bug that breaks item effects when equipping items in undead form. Item effects are fixed by equipping them when not in undead form.
