    Default Oh come on Turbine!

So, I just decided to get rid of 8 bag slots of pots, and switch (finally) to greater resist gear(lightning, acid...etc) Thinking I could at least save 3 bag spaces the way I have things set up now.

Nothing I can afford for rings on the AH, all over 100k so I think, let's go take a look at the crafting hall......

Why the heck are you charging us a purified eberron shard FOR GREATER RESIST?

Has greed gone that far that common enchantments on common gear that drops all the time REALLY deserving of charging people that much to create?

I have said it before, and I will say it forever. You just made it definitive for me. There is NOTHING I want from your crafting system anymore, it has gone from what the devs were saying they wanted to this hermorphodite bleed the players dry monstrosity.

!0.2 has done more to drive your players away from crafting than it has to encourage it.

I hate to say this, because alot of people have leveled pretty high in crafting, but if you REALLY want to fix/balance crafting, then you need to start over from level ZERO for everyone.

I know nobody wants to hear that, but really, it is the only way to do it, the way it is now only a select few players are leveled high enough to do anything useful with the system.

EDIT: I am begging all you forum reading types to PLEASE make your feelings known on the entire cannith crafting in this thread, please don't just pop in for a quick once over of the main topic, as it has evolved over time.

Right now, since I have been taught that purified shards are NOT what I was under the impression the trade ins were going to be BEFORE launch, I could deal with them, if they were not so wide spread now in recipes, and if they were not requiring other items (excluding +1 tomes...really, they are a waste to nom-nom anyway) for exchange that was much sought after.

Please read the thread, and voice your OPINION on topics raised, there is no doubt this thread is being watched by those that make decisions, but those decisions are based on player feedback! If all you have to say, is some redundant troll post like "deal with it" please, troll elsewhere, as that is NOT usefiull/constructive feedback for those that need to see it, nor for those of us that just do not care and add said trolls to our forum ignore lists.

Really? That seems a little overboard for greater resists.

Has anybody pulled a purified from a chest? Weren't they supposed to make those loot drops?

It must be so, because I just checked the store and couldn't find them.

I have opened an ess ton of chests since 10.2 and I have seen none of them.

Oh of course I can go trade 3 of my precious medium eberron shards fora single purified, but they have much more intrinsic value to me for exp pots after my 3rd TR from my understanding of things. No way I will waste them for crafting.

1 Medium eberron fragment = 2 purified eberron fragments. Not sure where you are coming up with your ratio.

It's not as bad as you make it out to be.

In fact its not bad at all considering you can trade one +1 tome for 4 purified fragments. +1 tomes are cheap.

Can't you trade like a +1 tome for a purified shard? Those run like 10kpp?

If I remember right, and if what I remember is what they actually did do, I thought it was supposed to be chest drops, store bought, and trade in for 3 med eberron shards

I agree with the sentiment, but for clarity, I think the small eberrons are traded for purified on a 1 for 1 basis, mediums give you two purifieds and large gives you three.

Doesn't change your conclusions just the degree.

The recipe changes in 10.2 were way to heavy handed, purifieds showed up everywhere, and the costs of other recipes is outrageous considering the cost of leveling crafting for the privilege of using the recipes.

Yeah, and you have to have level 89 in the school to be able to craft greater resist shards anyway. So way out of my reach period.

    OOHHH!!

Those Ebberron Dragonshards are for crafting? I just pulled a purified on yesterday. I guess I will hold onto them now instead of selling.

According to the wiki, A +1 tome can be traded for 4 fragments....most likely the cheapest route to go....unless you're swimming in epic tokens.

Hey thanks for that. That at least takes some of the 'bleed' out of it I guess.

What I remembered was not what they finally wound up doing they added more options on to it. Good deal.

That chart is weird.....+1 tomes are easy to come bye, and +2's are not that hard to get either and both of them yield the same or more fragments than stuff that costs RL money or is way harder to come by.

This crafting system fits in well with the current content they have been putting out, it makes no sense at all.

not mentioning the color here specifically......

How does the current cannith crafting fit in well? I cannot buy up an es ton of GS mats and trade them to you, and expect you to bring me back a litII heavy pick can I?

Yet you can do this with cannith crafting, which in my PERSONAL opinion, makes no sense to me. If someone else can craft me my unbound shards so I can make myself a couple heavy picks of GLoB (what does GLoB mean anyway, I forgot) Then why can't the same people take an ess bunch of GS ings to make me a litII heavy pick of whatever else they can add to it?
