    Default Your First Epic Run...

I finally hit level twenty. I hit it on my cleric and monk at similar times. Shortly after, I started seeing what I never got to see before- groups in LFG running Epics.
The only epic pack I own, is Red Fens, so I was some what limited to my choices of groups. My first epic quest: The Last Stand.
It went brilliantly, we ended up with two monks (including me), two barbarians, a wizard, and a favored soul. Not one thing saved from my stun, nothing saved from our wizard, no one could break through our Favored Soul's heals, and not one enemy withstood the blows of dual barbarians backed by powerful monk fists.
So tell me about your first epic, admittedly, I was terrified I would not be up to par, and would fall short and cost the group, as I have neither the best build, or gear. But as soon as I was done with it, all I could say was, "that was easier than I thought!"
Tell me about your first epic, how did you feel before, during, and after?

My first epic was Offering of Blood, of all things. I remember seeing the trash at the beginning and sending a tell to my friend about it (who had never don epics either) "These scorpions are level 36!!!!! "
The first try went very badly, I think we wiped at the first door. We actually beat it the second time (to my amazement). I took a bunch of screenshots of the end chest cause it looked cool.

I haven't run that one since.

I've only done like 2-3 Epics myself.

First was one of the Under the Big Top line, FvS. Mostly heal-bot didn't know what was going on, we avoided some stuff, I think. It ended I got a token. All in all it wasn't anything special.

First epic was Big Top. I'd been lvl 20 for a while and was pussyfooting around, avoiding epics and saying I'll do them when I feel ready - despite people giving me the reassuring thumbs up. My guild leader saw a PUG for Big Top up, saw me online, joined the group and told me to join it too. Not having an excuse to hand, I did so. It went well. I felt like a bit of an idiot trying to do the jump near the start but after mashing the space bar finally made it up. The rest went smoothly. Since then have tried chrono, some of the Von epics and wizking. I'm liking it on the whole. Will be trying the red fens soon =)

My first trips into epic questing were among the first completions of Tomb of the Wizard-King and An Offering of Blood ever performed, back when they were on the Lamannia Server. It was definitely a time sink.

Haha this was me, but backwards. I started out, "Oh god I'm gonna drag them down, I only have like 360 hp". After I stunned and killed my first enemy in two or three seconds, I grew very confident. In the end, only the pure monk had out scored me in kills; suffice it to say, I no longer feel I need to True reincarnate ASAP.
Though, I was lucky, with buffs ended up at 62 ac, so I wasn't doing too bad with that :3

Partycrashers, the full run through the Illusionarium before the "tricks" to skip it were known. The air jet room with the will save based traps was NASTY without a rogue to disable them. Now that the "tricks" don't work, barely anyone PUG's it. It was a change from what I ever dealt with before, but was an excellent learning experience. Mobs and traps are actually major threats, and brute force isn't always the way to complete.

Then Snitch, which wasn't bad, especially after we adjusted strategies the next time we ran it to make it easier.
