Default What is ML on crafted items?

My understanding is, ML on crafted items is:

    2 * (prefix level + suffix level + "plus") + 1

For example, all Greater Banes are suffix level 4 so +1 Greater Bane of something-or-other is ML 2*(0+4+1)+1 = 11

While Superior Devotion III of Greater Healing Lore is ML 2*(3+4+0)+1 = 15

    Am I correct?

Everything I have crafted matched Ellis' method:

    (X * 2) - 1

Don'ts use the middle machine for this, the one that creates shards. It shows different (incorrect) numbers for spell items, and possibly others.

It's ML = 2 * Enchantment Level minus one. Not plus one.

    For example, a +4 Holy Bane is (4 + 2 + 2) * 2 - 1 = 15

Your +1 Greater Bane should be 9. Not sure about the other one since the enchantment levels of caster effects are wonky, but if 3 and 4 is correct for those shards, then it would be 13, not 15.

The Minlvl on crafted items is, ridiculusly, 1 lvl higher than found weapons.

A +1 Holy lesser bane weapon is minlvl7 where it should be lvl6 from my experience.

From my experience on found wepons and crafting in pnp there is one point calculated wrong atm.
Any weapon bearing a magical effect must carry a minimum of +1.
The +1 enchanted shard therefor should be free minlvl wise. not sure about the larger bonusses atm.

the question is: WAI to have the found items a bit superior or mistake of the system?

    It's not WAI...
