Already calculated-and this is max without splashes (which are worth it, as the 2 spell levels lost are more than made up for by the 300-400 SP you GAIN (18Sorc/1Favored Soul/1Bard gives totals of 4,198 entering quest and 4,386 attainable mid-quest) by splashing) but splashing can go HIGHER.
How?, i splashed cleric once on a sorcerer and i couldn't get my Sorce line of SP enhancments, nor could i get the cleric char and my sorcerer char at the same time :/... Or is it made up by the SP Pool getting bigger via the fact i get the same SP as a bard/fvs would at level one with my char?

Both use CHA for their spellpoint stat- with a 40-50+ CHA, that's 27 times CHA from Sorcerer, 10 times CHA from Favored Soul, and 10 times CHA from Bard. You gain 100 spellpoints from 1 FvS and 50 from 1 Bard. Total, you're gaining more SP from CHA- a total of 47 times your CHA modifier, which is 23. Whole bunch more SP than 29 times 23, what you get from Sorcerer 20, and 2 Sorc levels is not enough SP to make it matter.

BYOH. Know it, abide by it, or don't mess with those who do.

Are 300-400 sp you're almost never going to actually use worth the loss of the +20% dmg from the capstone too? Splashing is a VERY BAD idea on a nuking sorc.

Personally, I'd say killing mobs 20% faster with 20% less spells would probably actually save you more than 300 sp. But that's just me, I actually prefer being more effective than breaking meaningless records.

If any of you guys have seen, i've capped my sorcerer over the time of this thread, so multiclassing is out of the question for max SP... Max SP for pure is what i want

    P.S
the 20% more damage capstone is pretty cool, i got a crit for 2,257 on my friend who was wearing a ring of the dinjiin... I don't wanna loose the high crits for SP.

Congrats on caping, the sorc capstone is awesome and I don't think anyone denied that. The post was about record number of spell points, which would really only serve you better in a certain number of builds (DC based casting build, other off the wall builds).
