    Default Crafting Trinket BtC?

It seems that the crafting blank Trinket that you find in chests and from the coin turn in are BtC.

Would it be possible to have them changed to BtA, if not unbound, until you put a shard on them?

I have had to start turning the coins in with alts but at this point all my characters but the mules at 2 or more trinkets. I did not end up buying one off the DDOstore so I'm not sure the bound status of those.

    Thanks for the consideration.

Having them drop for coin turn-ins, and be bound to character is nonsense. If you're collecting coins to turn in, you're not going to be switching through all your characters to do so. Chances are you're going to use 1, maybe 2, and even less likely 3. But I believe it's safe to say that most people only use 1. So 1 character ends up with more than one trinket, and has to throw most of them away, because they can't use it for their other alts. Even worse is having 1 character collecting and turning in the coins, and having an alt who does all the crafting. Unfortunately for me, that's the situation I'm in at the moment. I've had 3 trinkets drop, from coins, with my coin jumper, and I can't give them to my crafter to use. I've thrown one away so far, and am holding the other 2 in my bank, hoping that the devs wake up to reality, when it comes to the whole BTC & BTA crafting item thing. So please for the love of Khyber, change them to BTA.

Don't know about "most people", but as soon as I got a trinket from Jack Frost and realized it is BtC, I did all subsequent turn-ins on a different toon. Yes, it would be more convenient if trinkets were BtA. It is not great hardship to work around.

Do you realize that shards your crafter makes are BtA and can be passed to whichever toon has the trinket? And trinket owner does not need ANY crafting skill to apply the shard?
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

"Of course it is. Are YOU going to question beholder's artistic sense?"

I did the same but it got to the point where I have them on all the characters I currently plan to level at all. I can't store any for new characters I might make though since I can't transfer the trinkets. There are hints that a new class is coming and if I decide to make a character of this mystery class it will not be able to use any of the half-dozen or so trinkets I'll have banked by then. I would need to store some coins and hope the trinket is given out next time the games come around or buy one from the ddostore.
