    Post Any Permadeath/Roleplaying Guilds?

    Hello,

I'm just a returning player, to DDO and PnP. I didn't have much time for DDO before, and I could never find a decent group for PnP, but both have changed. So I never made it to high levels in DDO or PnP, but this time around seems very promising. DnD is most enjoyable to me when RPed heavily, so i'm looking for a RP and permadeath guild all in one. If you're in one, i'd like to hear from you.
While I wait for a guild to pop up, i'll be playing on a random server (Permadeath). But I am willing to switch servers/re-roll if required too. Since i'm willing to switch servers, I will be posting this on every servers guild recruitment page. So it would be a lot easier to reach me through a PM, since I'd rather not check every post on every guild recruitment page 20 times a day haha.

    In your PM, please include:
    Your server.
A characters name where you can be reached.
    Your guilds name.
    Website if you have one.
    Estimated guild size/activity.
A brief description and RP backround (If you have one) of your guild.

    Thanks!

Generally speaking, when your toon dies you delete it. Few exceptions, if any.

I'm up for a static PD group. I can play pretty much any night, 9pm to midnight ET (longer on weekends).

Well, I use toon a lot because I see that people use toon a lot.

    Check the server forums...

If you are looking for permadeath the two largest guilds are

The Sublime Permadeath Guild (on Thelanis)
And The Mortal Voyage (Not sure of their server)
There is also the Extreme Explorers Guild on Sarlona

Thelanis is one of your Best bets for an RP Guild...

The Sword and the Rose is one that I know of...

I would also write in to DDOCast
and or Lessah of the DDO Cocktail Hour...

As They can give you lots of options...
Lessah plays both Permadeath and RP...
As well as a little power gaming (if that is also your thing...)

And Sig and Anne of DDOCast are a fount of information, and I am sure they
Can break down the servers and guild options for you nicely...

Welcome back and best of luck wherever you land...

    Happy hunting!

Guilds are somewhat of a mixed bag. Sure, you've got people who share the same rules as you. But its common to login and find them all doing their own thing. Its not the same experience as a static group at all.

I always laugh when i see people post about what permadeath guilds exist and they choose a select few.

The best way to pick the permadeath guild you want to join is to look at the official permadeath guild listing in the permadeath section of the forums, in the listing each guild web link is there so that you can review each ruleset and pick which one would suit your playstyle the most!!!!
