Does brilliance or light damage enhancing clickies effect the damage of the archon you summon? If so.. what spell lvl is that thing?

Yes they do, and I don't know exactly what level it is, but it's below 6, since lich mantle on the Abbot and Raiyum will block it.

You won't notice a huge difference with a brilliance item though. Since the base damage is so low, the amount of real increase it gets from a small percentage won't be all that much.

Make the brilliance item (Superior Brilliance V only needs level 30 crafting) for Divine Punishment. Any boost it gives to the predator gun is just a nice bonus.
