So me and a friend started playing DDO a month or two ago, and have reached level 9-10 as a rogue and barbarian. Lately we've been trying some of the harder group quests and been really struggling. We often get to the end of quests by the skin of our teeth and die horribly at the last boss which is fairly depressing
Neither of us are fond of PuGing at all and havent had a very good experience with it so far, so we'd rather find people to play with on a more long-term basis. We do have a guild that we've used for a little while as we've been levelling up that we could use if a couple of people would be interested in playing with us, though we're also open minded to the idea of joining a tight-knit guild. We haven't joined a guild so far as we're worried about finding a group that has played the game for a long time and knows the game back-to-front already, as we're really enjoying discovering new parts of the game and we dont want to know what's in every nook and cranny before we get there.
On the other hand we're both fairly mature despite being young (18&21) and enjoy playing relatively seriously and are keen to become more knowledgeable about the game, and expect the same from those we play with. Our playing time varies though we're both free for the summer so its fairly flexible at the moment, though this will change in september as we'll both be at Uni. Both of us have been playing WoW for a few years and have some experience in other MMOs/1player RPGs so we're not completely newbie
Our in-game names are Marshe and Nemertea so post or send a tell if you're interested
Also: while we're not VIPs (student budget ftl) we have bought a few adventure packs and are definately open to buying more of the popular packs as we progress.
