PM Monk (a necro thread?)

So I've been gone a while. Last I recall people were posting all kinds of Pale Master Monk builds. Did anything good come out of that? Did the the vampire form with 8 levels of monk ever become viable?

Sorry for stirring up an old topic, but I was always partial to this build concept, I guess I looking for closure.

Was wondering how much should be viable a monk 12/wiz 8 (zombie form)... I'll try to write a build

they're generally considered 'flavor builds'

they are interesting, and i suppose with large amounts of nice gear would be semi-viable. a couple of guildies had builds like this. none of them seems very great though
