I'd be happy with 2 guaranteed larges on Hard and 3 or 4 on Elite.

    Default Extra Chest.

Dude there is an extra chest, you have to hit the portal in the middle.

In the last group I was in they had already drawn that out to 30+ seconds when my bordom kicked in and I clicked. People "got mad" and then the new guy freaked on the group "I didn't do it!" and people attacked him more thinking he was just being defensive... It was actually kind of funny. At least more funny than that joke ever was.

I agree there should be a benefit to running Hard & Elite. A chance for Extra Larges, or perhaps an increase in the chance of certain larges, +3 tomes, and hey, throw in a chance for Huge bags whilst your at it!

I think that's a little overdoing it I was thinking a extra 50% chance for a large on hard and a guaranteed on elite. It it was anymore then that i think nobody would ever do normal, leading to a lot of fails for the groups that just couldn't do it.

Oh, and I think have at least 3 or 4 spare large bags now. One for each TR. It's hard NOT to hit 12 Favor while levelling now, no need to run the Shroud. It was once solid favor, not so much anymore.
    /this.

Shroud is still pretty easy on Elite nowadays, however. Harry doesn't scale up much except in hitpoints, and part 2 is IMO easier on Elite as people take it seriously (so you get less mistakes).

It's still less boring than Normal, however.

The OP's suggestion could be implemented simply by copying the right part 4 chest's loot table to the right part 5 chest if the difficulty is Hard, or copying the left part 5 chest's loot table to the right chest if on Elite.

This might requiring adding two chests to the right side, so three chests each with a different loot table, but only displaying the applicable one for the difficulty. This is already how ToD works, so we know it is possible.
It wouldn't even require that. Just have the right chest be level 17 loot on Normal. On Hard, roll 1d100 - 1-40 the chest drops a random large, 41-45 a random greensteel weapon blank, 46-50 a random GS accessory, and 51-100 it drops level 18 loot. On Elite, it drops a random large regardless, then roll 1d100 - 1-5 a random GS weapon, 6-10 a random cleansed GS accessory (BtA on acquire, BtC on equip), 11-12 a +3 tome.

Yea there needs to be more consistency to the "more chests on hard/elite" that a lot of newer quests are getting.

I mean acute delerium was done perfectly - 2 more chests on hard, then another further 2 more on elite. And its much harder on hard/elite too, so its balanced.

Yet the other 3 new quests have no more loot on hard/elite, and thus pretty much suck in comparison for how much total loot you can pull, to the point you may as well always run normal.

Far as shroud goes, I want more chests in EPIC shroud.. Forget elite.
