    Default Music suggestions

Looking for good suggestions for music to listen to while playing, or just while trudging through a tedious day at work. My preferred genres are rock, metal (more melodic than just screaming & thrashing), motown stuff & just assorted classic old style tunes

As an example, in the past couple of hours of drudgery i've been listening to Epica, Dio, The Mamas & The Papas, Nancy Sinatra, Harry Belafonte, Johnny Cash, The Muppets, Rich Hall (in his Otis Lee Crenshaw persona), Santana, assorted film/tv stuff (inc. stuff from Mongrels & The Labyrinth), Scorpions, Tim Minchin, Sonata Arctica, Blind Guardian, Nightwish, Goo Goo Dolls, Bob Dylan & 65 Days Of Static.

    So, any ideas?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

Moody Blues albums 2 - 8 (In Search of the Lost Chord - Octave). Nothing after the Mike Pinder years.

    Boston

    The Eagles (pre-breakup albums)

Jackson Browne - His first five albums

Meatloaf - Bat Out of Hell

Mozart compilations (there are CD's of all of his Kochel listings in order)

    Dave Brubeck

Steep Canyon Rangers (Steve Martin's bluegrass band)

Bobby Moore - Still Got the Blues

Jimmy Buffet - Livin' and Dyin' in 3/4 Time

That should keep you busy for a bit, and possibly give you some other leads as you explore deeper. I hope you enjoy!
Once upon a time, I was part of a team, and we saved some children. That was long ago and far away, and, yes, I am that old.
