Looking for build help for an AC Pally monk

I was disscussing with a friend about my next life on my Pally monk . Friend said that theer is a very high A.C Monk Pally build , but I can't find it or work it out on the builder .

Im thinking Dark Monk14 for dps , Unsure with Pally KOTC6 would be nice for more dps .. but healing amp and ghost touch are use full and extra Ac from DOS is probably the way to go .I want to do HElf with the cleric dilly ( for self sufficiency) ..

I've looked into finesse and high dex ( but it feels wrong to make a toon with no Str and I dont like having a starting Con belolow 16 ..I'm a H.P fascist.

So thats my general build idea .. can some of the build experts ( A.C / monk experts doublyappreciated ) lend a little of their expertise ??

Ihave a supreme tome and am expecting to put one level up into Int to get Combat reflexes ..
also gear recomendations are appreciated ( I really dont get A.C at all lol)

I could just make an easy dps self sufficient LightmonkPally but would like to try something different

at first glance, what stands out the most is that 8 Str is gonna hurt.

Here's mine. Haven't looked at this in a while so I may have changed some stuff with enhancements over what's listed here but you'll get the general idea.

Also, this is a reincarnate 1 so you won't have quite as many stat points to play with.

(edit) Just re-read your post and saw that you were looking to go 14monk/6pally so this isn't really the build you're looking for but I'll leave it up for you to look over if you like.

Actually that is great help cause my plan after this life is to do a ... 18 Pal 2 Monk A.C build ( using the life im looking for advice on to learn about how to make A.C builds work and to grind the relevant gear

Just wanted to emphisize that

A) 8 starting strength is very bad for any melee, dex based or not.

B) You are starting at 10 int and planning to use a level up, while starting at 15 con AND 16 wis. You do realize that it takes at least 2 build points to put those stats so high, 3 depending on the race. If you were to knock one of the two down to 14 or 15 it would give you 2 or 3 build points to either put into int or strength, and then you can go back and use the 1 level up to bring the stat back to 16. Much more efficient.

spyderwolf's build that you can find here is another option that's along the same lines as Thelmallen's, but by staying away from Combat Expertise you can get much better DPS (Str-based, khopesh, power attack) while still maintaining very good AC. It involves a ranger past life, but if you don't have one you just have to carry around +3 Barkskin potions, no big deal. He also leverages the Min II's Keen property to avoid taking IC: Slash.
