Default Where do you put your HP item?

Or do you even wear one? I'm looking to make my Clonk a little tougher and that mean an HP item . . .

Mineral II helm will work best, currently wearing minos but I can slot Toughness elsewhere. But locks out the Epic Moron helm. That also saves me the trouble of looking for the epic moron helm so it's a Win/Win.

SP item is looking like con-op goggles.

What do you have for bracers? Are you trying to go claw set?

You can also make HP conc / op goggles - wouldnt have the + SP, but they would have 6 wis, 45 HP and conc / op.

or split the difference and put 10 HP for first tier and then SP upgrades on tiers 2 and 3 for the conc/op item. Wizardry VI is nice but build them for your end gear set up and you'll see that you'll be wearing Archmagi somewhere so Wizardry VI would be unnecessary.

Thinking Epic Scorched for 3-piece Abishai. I have all the components. Though Jidz Teka would fit in easier and is "cheaper." Throw in some Claw Gloves and Epic Gem of many facets and we almost have a gear setup that don't suck . . . Just not sure how much I want to invest in "the healer of last resort."

he's at 1906 SP right now with no SP item and I can heal any quest/raid without drinking pots as long as the group don't suck. But . . . I have Mental toughness and I want to ditch it. Really need the 150 SP to do that.

I started doing the SP ConOp deal (that's what my clonk has) but I'd probably make HP ConOp today and a +6 CHA item somewhere I can swap ... that's the setup for my wizard.

Then helm is likely the best option like you said - unless you are actually going to do bracers. Odd that you have to finagle it by reslotting toughness (20hp) to add 45 HP, heh.

Epic Helm of the Mroranon can be worried about when you have the item - thats how I roll.

The real question is “where can it not go”.

Boots – No way, ToD and too many utility swaps here
Head –There are enough head items to discourage HP or SP here (minos, several good epic items)
Cloak – Envenomed (one of the better abishai pieces imo) otherwise a good slot for GS due to almost no competition
Goggles – Sneak attack from tharnes is nice, but comes in other slots and is an OK spot to sacrifice as there is not much at all for this slot
Gloves – Tons of competition here
Belt – Way too many swaps and tod sets
Bracers – Not a lot of competition, (abishai, glacial) could be a good choice
    Neck - Torc

Other notable concerns in no particular order:

UMD/Intimidate – Because SP items boost CHA skills it’s nice to have this an “always-on”
Other gear – How do your gearset and swaps work from a wholistic viewpoint?

Why are boots a "no way?" I've currently healed about 60 ToDs without an HP item. I'm not gonna be tanking anything.

Though my Striding 30% with a Large Guild Augment Slot kinda make this a no for me.

Right now his only named loot is an Epic Cloak of Night (which can be a swap item but would prefer not to be) and Gauntlets of Enternity.

Mine are on my boots for my clonk. My WF bard has HP bracers. My PM will probably slot gloves, possibly a belt.

You gave part of my answer.

Balance, Firestorm, and things I know I have but can't remember atm are some other reasons.

If you're still wearing the Gauntlets, I'd say glove slot. Only other real competition there would be abbot gloves or VoD gloves for the efficient meta.

It sounds like you're wasting an equipment slot.

    You want (to wear):
    HP greensteel (all the time)
    SP greensteel (when shrining)
Conc Opp greensteel (all the time)

The obvious solution is to make a conc opp hp item that you wear all the time, and a second sp greensteel that you swap on to shrine/buff. These should require one slot (that you already have dedicated to the sp conc opp - goggles), not two like you're trying to squeeze in now.

    Cheers,
    Kernal

This is an OK way to do it so long as you are OK with...

    • HP/SP gyration when swapping
    • Swapping to meet CHA based no-fail skill numbers
    • Using enough SP before swapping to HP

I don't wear an HP item on either of my divines, I put 10HP on my SP/Con opp item. Although I don't have any cleric's anymore, and FvS are a bit tougher in the HP department, so maybe it would be a bit more in demand for a clonk.

Kinda/not really. I'm over 500 HP in earth-stance with yugo pot and rage. that with evasion and a decent reflex save (and quickened cures) he's very hard to kill right now. I really don't even bother with the yugo-pot except for when I know I could take a big hit which isn't that often.

That sounds pretty darn good to me unless you're trying to tank (which I wouldn't put past you haha!)

I avoid all of these issues by putting the two items in different slots.

This way, if I need my cha or higher SP value, I'm reduced to the same status as people who always equip both (sp conc opp + hp). The rest of the time I'm better off.

On my wizard, I've put sp in the boots slot. While the boots slot has lots of swap-utility, this same feature makes it perfect for the sp-swap item.

    Cheers,
    Kernal
