    Default Frenzied Berserker-opinions?

I just returned to the game, and rolled a copy of a Barbarian Build I had before. After looking around a little, I built out and took Frenzied Bersker at level 6. What to know what others thinks of this enhancement? (I did look around the forums, but couldn't find a direct answer)

My understanding is nearly every barbarian is of the frenzied variety...

Frenzy Berzerker 1 , 2, and 3 is not an option for a barbarian. It's a requirement. It's the best DPS prestige in the game.
    Eulogy- oh ninety eight

    Rage.

    Frenzy.

    Death Frenzy.

    Then do it some more.

If you dont enjoy using Frenzied zerker it makes more sense to roll a fighter.

FB is the only reason to go barb.

Roll a fighter instead if you can't handle the DPS

Frenzied Berzerker is so over-the-top better than the other Barb PRE that it doesnt even make any sense to take anything else as a newly created Barbarian.

The above is a joke btw. Just in case someone takes me too seriously.

The question I have about it, is that once I turn it on, the vicious does so much damage the Cleric is going to hate me? (And it didn't seem to turn off/end, past the end of the frenzy, even past the next shrine)

If you can't byoh enough to deal with 1d3 incoming damage, you can leave frenzy off (but buy some potions, man! top yourself off in between waves of enemies!); I'll do it when I'm soloing high level quests on my barb, since my DR + dungeon scaling is usually enough to mean I never have to heal myself. But when you get death frenzy, use it 24/7.

You must have an actual vicious weapon equipped, then.

As someone who has capped two divines, I never even noticed any death frenzies going on. Either no barbarian on Khyber uses is, or it's so minor that I couldn't be bothered to notice.

I, as a Capped Cleric, can tell when someone is using Frenzy/Death Frenzy, but the vicious damage is minor compared to the damage it does to the opponent, and really is nothing that can't be healed with an Aura, let alone a Heal spell off a scroll.

BYOH. Know it, abide by it, or don't mess with those who do.

Extra damage done=battle over faster=less incoming damage=less healing needed.

On my cleric, I hate barbarians more for not turning it on, especially in snooze-fests like Shroud pt 1 or EBT.

I understand the attraction. I am going to buy several stacks of potions, and possibly some respeccing, but I took the enhancement and never want to turn it off!
