    Default dndclient has stopped working

I get this problem when going from the launcher to the game. It also asks me.

We detect that this Machine is capable of running DirectX 10 Graphics mode. Would you like to enable DirectX 10 Graphics? You can disable this in Graphics Options whenever you'd like should you find any problems. [134]"

When you can post the full dxdiag info, the limited items there don't give a good overall view of other possible causes/contributors.

    I would also try this:

Open up the “Documents” > “Dungeons and Dragons Online" folder and look for "Userpreferences.ini" and rename it to "OldUserpreferences.ini" and relaunch.

On the main launcher at the “server select” list click the third button in the row in the upper-right corner (the one with the single down arrow on it) and choose "Options". In there under "Repair" click to enable the "Reset game display settings" option, click ok, then log in again to test.

At this point if prompted to enable DirectX 10 or 11 graphics choose no at least for initially testing it under DX9 mode.

    Unhappy

Hey i have this issue in 2012. Mine is a little different, i can log in but wen i try to enter a world with a character or make a new character a message comes up saying "A problem has caused the program to stop working. windows will notify you if they find a solution." They were talking about the dndclient. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be great. i played this game for a year and i was member for 3 years so i really want to play this game again.
