For those of you that acutally purchased the game in the beginning (the actual box from the store) and got those exclusive, ingame items like the +1 to AC trinket and the 5% striding boots.

With crafting in the game, it would be nice if we could "augment" those somehow either through Epic Crafting or Cannith Crafting. You know, add to or upgrade those items. Maybe be able to upgrade the trinket to +4 to Natural AC and add something minor like Toughness, Mod Fort, False Life, etc. And to the boots be able to at least upgrade those to even 25% striding with another "power" on them. They would have to be level appropriate. I'm not saying 25% striding with no level reqs. Don't make them OP but give those few of us who still have these items a reason to keep them.

If you're like me, and I know some are, you're a pack rat and hold on to stuff. Yes these items are nice starting out, but buy level 7-10 they sit in a bank. You can't even sell them for a handful of plat.

Any thoughts on this?

Might also be cool to be able to do crafting on the Starter Rags...they have a different look and I know I saved some for RP purposes on some characters.

Cool, had not tried since many "named" items were rejected, I had just assumed that the Starter Rags would click as a named item in that infernal machine...

So you can't craft on them anymore?
