That's like 7500 pots at 10k each which is a high estimate per pot. I use maybe 5-10 pots a week at the most and pull an equal amount to replace them between all my toons.

I get that it's super rare and it's a prestige item but that's a lot of stuff to trade away for it.

To each is own though, I'm not judging.

This thread is utterly pointless due to the rarity of the shard. I do not understand why it was even posted, that is all.

Given that it is BtA, you should post a regular farming run on the Khyber forums. Kinda like Disavowed does with the Drunken Raids or like Axer was doing with the 4xeVon6 on Tuesdays and Fridays. Just let everyone who joins know what the goal is and what you are offering up front. The marketplace forum is kinda the wrong place for this though, as the item is not actually tradable except in the chest.

Then let everyone know that you are wanting to buy the shard when they join. Honestly, though:

1) Your price on FRDS varies from 1 mill plat to 650k plat and everywhere in between in several places. The value is about 700k pp. Most of the time you are overestimating the value.

2) Large stones are not worth 450kpp. Large scales aren't over 400kpp right now.

3) With the exception of maybe 4-5 items, most of this stuff is junk. You should just offer the Mari Chain Scroll, 2 Envenomed Cloak Scrolls, 1 Boots of Mire Scroll, 6 FRDS, and the Bloodstone. That's easily 30-40 Reds in value (21-28 mill pp). If that's not going to swing someone from looting it if it drops for them, the rest of that stuff isn't going to get it done, either.

With one caveat.

I'll give you the Shard but i want the seal of same if it drops.

On Saturday I posted a piece on how it is not really plausible to farm for a Shard that is never going to drop.

Three hours later i did an EDQ1 with team Revenant and promptly pulled The Shard.

By the way do you mean EDQ1 or 2. Drop rate in EDQ2 is 1 in 5000. Little bit better in DQ1 but i dont know exactly how much because that particular Shard has had its drop rate badly nerfed.

Someone posted the drop rate %'s for EDQ2 Shards last week . it was quite enlightening.

I intend to run both tonite if i can. I am now on a mission to find a certain seal. (no surprise their then).

I must admit after nearly 2 years of hard grinding EDQ1 has started to come together for me. Ive had a Thornlord/Wolf Whistle & RSS shard out in the last three months
