Not another first for "NBD"

Quick heads up, when you join a TOD - have heal scrolls if you're a FVS. If you don't have any heal scrolls before the leader asks you to heal the main tank, say so then. If you have only 2300 sp as a triple TR DROW FVS, maybe you should carry a pot or two, especially considering you don't pack any heal scrolls. When you are 50% out of sp when Horoth is at 90%, despite letting the main tank drop below the first letter in his name on the red bar multiple times during this period, maybe you should let the other divines know that they're going to have to pick up your slack. Maybe after the raid completes by some miracle with 11 deaths you should take people's advice instead of calling the main tank a gimp and blaming your suckiness on others.

Maybe I should just shut up now.

ToD and VoD are way too hard. When I hit Cure Mass Light/Medium/Serious/Critical as fast as I can when only the main tank needs to be healed and I have Empower/Maximise/Empower Healing and Quicken all turned on, I run out of spell points way too quickly even though I have 2400 spell points!

These raids obviously can't be completed without Epic gear, so I'm going to start a Nerf Suulomades/Horoth thread now. It's the only way to fix this obvious imbalance.

Also, why do people keep telling me that I'm a terrible healer for running out of spell points? They act as if there is some other way to run a healer other than just spamming as many Mass Cures as possible with all of my metamagic turned on. Noobs.

The run was on norm, I was tanking it on my barb that's at 780 hp raged, 800 or so with single madstone, with 120% healing amp. Clearly, I was the gimp in the transaction. If Bags had been in there he would have been down like a finger of death.

maybe a better damage mitigation tank would do well in cases where the healer is lacking. Obviously no way to know that ahead of time, but to go through a whole bar so quick means he was doing something else or the tank was just taking a complete pounding the whole time...

wasn't there, so do not know specifics, but I guess in newer and pug groups mana pots would be needed. If your tank (and suulo tank also) has some good DR and healing amp, a simple casting of prot from energy every 10 seconds or so (scroll) and a cure serious wand should keep him up....once in a while a heal.

But some people do not know how to heal, overheal, and won't spend pots...sounds like that was the case. Time to call for new cleric and pretend he is not there.


reminds me of when my fav soul went through his mana bar and 10 pots healing the warforged on horoth....I am sure he was a great tank, but he should have been on horoth's back end.

OG! I know exactly who you are talking about! Had him in one of our TOD runs. Wow. He was worse than useless. We watched him sit there and do nothing - one of our guildies was sucking down pots to cover for him and at the end the dude claimed to have drank a bazillion mana pots (which we all know he didnt as we watched him).

Maybe he bought some of the those WoW mana pots from the store and spiked them with alcohol and that was the pots he was chuggin'

On a serious note...I thought 2TR Drow FvS got 4000 SP by default
