It's good, but yet dissappointing since I can't mess with people.

That I do, infact the last time Kages said something nice about me when I was healing, I made sure to immediately die.

Then I made sure to screw up while leading for the bard in eVon6 so I'll never be asked to do that again

I'm always amazed at how many tells I get on my clerics when I'm already in a group. I once even had a person try to convince me to drop group and join his, saying he would give me plat/larges/loots etc.

The amazing thing is I hardly ever get tells. I either made that darn good of a game name for myself or...

People follow the alphabet in which case I'm on the very end of the list so the rest of you poor schmucks get hit up first and deflate them leaving me in happiness. So thank you!!!

Then go on, if they send me another one in 10 or 15....yeah, hit a snag, should only be 5 more min.

THe rest of the party leaves you alone (usually), and eventually, most of them finally get the hint

I suppose that since Im usually on my healers and have said no to many people, as well as put up "Self Buff" "Self Heal" LFMs on them when I leveled and when I raid, I just don't get that many tells anymore.

I don't mind them and even have fun. Shroud you say? Is this a fast run? Will I be expected to shrine and buff? TOD--Who are your tanks? Ok talk to me when you get your tanks. . .Oh I see that you are excluding Rangers and Rogues on your LFM for DPS, no thank you

Most of my blind tells ceased when I TRed Anarod (cleric 20)... Of course, I TRed him into another cleric so it's only a matter of time.

I usally give the same reply on this one....it goes something like this....

-If only there was a way...in witch someone could view the groups available, if only they coded some mechanic within the game where one could diside what people looks best suited for his or her skill. If only they would just make such a device, then a cleric could find groups if if he needed one. PErhaps if they would make such a thing, people could, look at it periodicly....you know...when they where looking for something and wernt busy. If only there was some way......

You know most times when I get those tells/blind invites, I refer em to what I call my "Standard Operating Procedure":

"You want a heal? Think for a second, if you need one because you feel the need to run ahead (out of my range I might add) and start swinging that great-axe/great-sword or shooting that bow to pull mobs, and then run off and decide that you can't take the constant beatings you receive for pulling WAY too much aggro, then I suggest you do one of the following things:

1. Drink a pot and sustain your life till I can get to you, and that will depend on whether or not you've used up more than 50% of my mana trying to keep your big dumb a$$ alive.

2. Offer up a wand/scroll/mana pot so as to contribute to party survivability.

3. Tank/kite/cast smarter not harder

If you can do any of those things then well we might have an understanding. But I will not stand by and just heal....so make use of any cc I can deal up ..you just might be surprised as to how much I can help in damage dealing w/ a well placed blade-barrier.

However, I ain't a miracle worker, so "stupid" is still in-curable."

Most times they just move on to the next suspecting person, cuz I typically get a, "oh...ok...well ty anyway"

I love how we were doing an elite run of the Attack on Stormreach chain the other day and had 2 clerics and 1 FVS in the party. The party leader actually got a tell asking if he could spare a healer for another party. LOL

I get so many tells on my cleric I want to shoot myself. Just a few days ago I had three conversations going at the same time with people wanting me to hjeal them, while I lightly jabbed at their intelligence for not noticing the Who tab clearly showing I was in-group and in-quest already.

The desperation for a cleric in group is profound.

Just tell them to invite then convince them they bugged if it says you in party already. Eventually they go away.

I have noticed that there has been an extreme dearth of clerics and favored souls lately, particularly in mid-levels where these classes are most needed.

Also, most of the high-level ones my guildies and I have encountered (outside of the guild) have been terrible. No reason why my WF FvS needs to chug pots in a shroud because the "heal-specced" FvS is out of mana and didn't bring scrolls.
