Featured Items

I opened the store to confirm that Res Cakes were on sale, as per the weekly specials. I like to actually confirm the sale has been implemented before updating my Free Advertising for Turbine thread.

First thing I notice is Ugly Red Text where the Featured Items normally are.

This area of the Store contains nothing your character may purchase at this time.

So I turned on "Show all items"...

And it's a bunch of Arcane spell scrolls and wands. Now, let us establish - these items are junk.

That said... is it good advertising to have your featured items restrict all but two classes? Like.. I dunno. Seems like you'd want the Featured Items page to show *something* for every character that accesses the Store, instead of giving them a default "We don't want to sell you stuff" notification.

This was an unintentional side effect of the category restructuring we did yesterday, and one we plan to resolve.

Seem... Interesting. At least by separating "Account" and "Character", it is plain and obvious that Storage bags are BtC. Of course, the negative nancy in me says that people would prefer that the store restructuring had also included them being ninja-reverted back to BtA.
