Just wondering what the average or necessary download speeds from DSL or Cable are to play DDO with a decent experience. Any comments from any speed testers out there? Thanks

Just recently reloaded the game. with cable (Roadrunner in the middle of the Pacific) took about 4-5 hours.

do you mean to download the game or to play it? If you mean play it I used play on the road a lot with some crappy hotel wifi connections and it was just fine. So as long as you're not dial-up you should be fine.

You can resonably play with 500ms ping (more important than bandwidth) and 60kB/s, at least those are the min value i played, confortably, at.

With such limited BW you can expect some delay in loading heavy populated areas like market, and in general transitions will not be that smooth.

I play on satalite with 1600 pings Jumping on to platforms give me trouble sometimes is all
