Do you retain active DR with improved shield bash when sheild-bashing?

I just noticed, after update 10 that autoattack works with shield bash.

Im not sure if worked pre-update 10. All I'm saying is i just noticed right now.

Do you retain the blocking DR when doing a shield bash when you have improved shield bash feat?

I need this information because I'm planning to build a sword and board solo character.

You want to shield bash while shield blocking, why? This isn't a terribly effective tactic and will probably get you killed. Instead, I recommend if you are going S&B and you're getting missed quite a bit, then swing your main weapon so you can kill the bad guys with impunity. Improved shield bash will go off every 5th attack or so making your S&B DPS better. If you're getting hit fairly often when in S&B mode then switch to your DPS mode (which every tank should have) and kill the enemy before they kill you.

sigh... Why do people question other people's play style? My question was plain and simple, does the additional DR from Active Blocking remains when shield bashing with improved shield bashing feat.

To make it more clear to you.

1.) You do know how effective it is to solo raid bosses or any boss in particular with with Active blocking + Divine Punishment.
2.) Any attribute craftable into a weapon can be crafted into a shield. e.g. Holy Burst Mithral Heavy Shield of Greater Outsider Bane. ( PS, Mithral bypasses silver DR)
3.) You get the idea

As i've said, I'm "planning" a build. I just wanted to know how some feats specifically work before I roll in and play the toon.

Did some quick testing with a friend in PVP, it seems to retain the Active DR even while actively shield bashing. Need to confirm later.
