    Default Templar (18FTR/2MO)

    Hello there. I've been playing a paladin in my first life and was wondering about TRing someday into something. I really like all the weapon specialization of a fighter, but I really enjoy few of those paladin's clickies, so this attitude of mine has brought me here - fighter with two levels of monk.

    My goal was not to "in theory" created massive dps output class, but a character using almost (leaving 10% dualstrike) all of fighter's passive weapon focus, kensai prestige enhancements and some very interresting ki attacks and stances bound to a monk (of course nothing so shiny, but clickies!).

    I named it (if it ever gonna work - that's the reason posting it here, since I'm seeking advices or warnings what is going to work and what is not, so thank you for leaving a constructive criticism alike post) Templar, for it bounds my past life - paladin and half-elf dilletante feat cleric.

    So here it comes (perhaps there are builds like that in here somewhere - I really wasn't searching around, so if I somehow managed to duplicate someone's previously posted build, I trully apologise!)

    Why did I choose a cleric dilletante? Well, actually for being able to use healing wands, raise dead scroll and heal scroll (with 95% chance of casting).

    I really haven't thought about equipment, but I assume using Jidz-Tet'ka would be highly usefull, since having an extra healing aplification (for I aim to be mostly in fire stance for some extra Ki) is never a bad idea.

    Also, long swords are quite obvious and using a dragontouched outfit is what I have in mind (perhaps with some healing amplification Eldritch and/or Tempest runes...)

    If you got a few minutes after reading this build, please leave a comment, becouse I can see it "working" quite OK, question is - for those who knows, whether it is going to work; if the DPS is not decreased down to a Toothpick dual-wielding drowish female in a fancy armor.

    i prefer rogue dilettante. as a fighter u wont have good reflexes. rogue dilettante gives + save bonus against traps
    also giving 3d6 SA dmg

    Cheers for comment. I thought about rouge dill. but healing options (wands/scrolls) by cleric dill. seemed a little bit handier. Question is, whether those improved reflexes against traps (+2/+4 right?) would matter later in game (lvl 15+), since Heal and Raise Dead scrolls might matter quite fine.

    I wouldn't worry about the saves against traps part, but the sneak attack damage would be a huge boon for a longsword splash.

    However, if you're interested in Healing Amp, a monk dilettante (somewhat counter-intuitively) is a great choice, one used by the Solar Phoenix build as well.

    You have Dodge, Two Weapon Defense, and Power Critical as feats. These are not useful. Deflect Arrows is a questionable choice as well. Quickdraw is a good DPS feat that you could grab. The rest I would put into Toughness, shuffling slots as necessary.
