This is where creative rules lawyering comes into play. The not being able to wield Large longswords in the offhand is itself offset by the Feat: Oversize Two Weapon Fighting.
Feats in and of themselves usually only refer to normal variances and situations. OTWF coupled with MG is an extenuating circumstance.
The precedence is there, if you know how to find it and twist it around with logic to the way you want something affected. Been there, done that.
The only thing you cannot bend to your thinking is WotC, and their decisions are final.
And while particularly unwieldy in a general sense, it's pretty cool to know that you *can* possibly perform these impressively heroic acts.
in pen and paper monkey grip is actualy a prety rubish feat - its definately the flavour vairiety.
sure it lets you dual weild 2 handers (or large wepaons) but you still only get STR x 1 on main hand and STR x .5 on off hand, and poweratteck gives up to 5 on each as per normal.
the only dps it would add is about 1 or 2 points of damage tops for another -2 to hit.
Now thats ignoring equipment of course - dual weilding SOS for example would be kinda nuts and for these reasons and also the artwork budget i doubt we'll ever see this feat much tho id love it.

Just as gentle reminder: DDO is not D&D. It has that 'O' in the end, as in:
"Oh! DDO has nothing to do with D&D! Oh!"
